I present my makeup interpretation of The Snow Queen/Elsa. I knew I wanted this look to be more dramatic than most of my other interpretations because of the nature of The Snow Queen. She’s described as being quite “cold-hearted” and unfeeling, so I wanted quite a pointed, almost pixie-like look. I contoured and highlighted like crazy. She needed a frosted appearance so I used concealer on my lashes, waterline and outside my lips. I used a lot of white and shimmery highlighter too to seem like she was almost dewy. Finally, for the frozen effect, I used different shades of blue to make her seem almost dead. As you can tell, I went a little less Disney Elsa and a little more Hans Christian Andersen’s Snow Queen.
