What I love about this scene is Misty doesn’t know the whole story about how Ash met Pikachu and she casually picks him up and starts petting him. Ash has this ego look on his face like sorry, Pikachu only likes me. But then his face changes to a shock look as he sees Pikachu is enjoying Misty’s company. Ash gets jealous like wait a minute, it took me an entire episode to get this rodent to like me and it only took this random girl 2 seconds. Pikachu is like, I like this girl. Ash, can we please keep her?

I finished rewatching Fruits Basket today. As usual, it left me sobbing, but I am so unbelievably grateful for this show. For its themes and characters, its music and voice acting, its art and story … Just about everything in between, really. It makes me laugh, smile, cry, and feel emotions that I never realized I could feel. It has its problems, certainly, but Fruits Basket is an incredible piece of media that I will love until the end of time. Thank you, Fruits Basket. Thank you.

In honor of this occasion, this is my final photo edit of these past few weeks. Of the girl who has so much kindness in her heart, who’s so beautifully understanding and does her best to make everyone smile, even at the cost of her own happiness. Tohru Honda is the heart and soul of Fruits Basket, and I cannot imagine the show without her.

Finally, I would like to thank anyone who has seen, liked, and/or reblogged any of my photo edits. I’ve mentioned before that Eden has beautiful artwork, and I wanted to try my hand at exploring different colors and feelings and aesthetics with that artwork. So I’m grateful that people have enjoyed my interpretations!
