And all he can do is scream.

Blair looks back to run, but hesitates. She slowly approaches, worried. Sure, this isn’t her friend anymore, but… Her heart hurts.

Petey's ears twitch at the movement. His eyes snap open, golden and shining, like a wolf in the bushes.

And he lunges to BITE-

Blair yells out and immediately turns around to run for it, like she’s done so many times before. She knew how to be fast by now.
