At this point he had just turned 4 and graduated from intermediate level dog training at PetSmart. He loves training and does such a great job of following commands, unlike a certain husky I know.

So, Whiskey has had three major injuries. This was the first one. She is 4 here and is recovering from surgery to repair her torn ACL. She slipped on some ice. I heard her scream and ran outside in my socks to carry her inside. We took her to the vets and she was perfectly happy to meet all the new people. The lasting result of this injury is bad arthritis in her knee.s.

As often happens once a dog tears the first ACL the second likely to tear in 50% of dogs. Whiskey is in that group. She has a steel figure 8 replacing her ACL in each knee.

It took several weeks but she got better, twice
