people who insist on making AI art don't understand that a real artist loves to beat their head against a wall to figure out a problem just for the love of the game. making a drawing you like is literally just gacha if we're being so real because out if the dozens of stuff you make, you eventually make something you like and it's like addicting
i don't really have a deeper reason I draw other than I get a rush from making something I like and I'm always craving that
My reason is that I love drawing silly things. AI has no soul; it has no intention of getting up one day at 3 in the morning just because it’s had an idea for a drawing and can’t get it out of its head. And it doesn’t love what it creates either, not as much as an artist does.
And that’s the beauty of creating: the process, banging your head against the wall, and loving whatever comes out of it<3
