This AU is a work in progress I am working on with my bestie Chrome!!! Chrome doesn't have social media, so I will be the one managing everything online for it!!
The AU is called High Alert!
It takes place after chapter 7 access denied, but it specifically is if the main group fails to stop PAMA from invading the other worlds! The story follows the group, minus Lukas who is still under control of PAMA, forming a resistance and getting help from others worlds to team up and stop PAMA from invading, destroying, and controlling the different worlds!
We decided to play around with themes of desire a lot!! PAMA serves as a figure offering a more hedonistic lifestyle to those under their control, seeing that indulging in pleasure is good for the stability of the ones connected to them. Because even though they are under control, they still can feel things to a degree and the situation they're in decreases their ability to perform even if PAMA is pushing them too!!! Partly even giving some of them more control in their behaviors, in an attempt to persuade others to join them willingly.
PAMA serves as the main villain, but Lukas and Harper though are VERY active in recruiting, fighting the main group of heroes, and being generally active in the group!
As you can tell by some art I've posted thus far! Lukas and Jesse's relationship is focused on a lot!! We worked out how Lukas truly feels about Jesse! It plays a good amount on Lukas' guilt, self deprication, and want to please others! Him viewing himself as disgusting for "daring" to feel he belongs with the heroes group, feeling any sense of comfort with them, and generally how he has desperation to be close to them but wants to be seen as considerate and not push it or seem overbearing. So while their relationship is a big part of the story, it isn't the main focus!
There's a lot of little details I'm excited to see people pick up on! Currently, we are debating between a comic or just keep it written! Input is always welcome on this!
