speaking my truth bc iâve been in and out of fandom for a long time but iâm always surprised and a bit put off whenever people add robby into hcs and fics only to deliberately bastardize his character just so that dennis could get with their fav in the end
back in old fandom days people would NOT cross lines like those or enter into another shipâs territory to make their ship appear âbetterâ unless itâs tagged super clearly. if there was going to be a 3rd party plot device (or even a 3rd party in general) it would always be a made-up oc. but a lot of this fandom seems to get a kick out of making robby a cartoon villain and throwing all his canon traits away in favor of him being an asshole to dennis so that dennis could run into the arms of someone else
and all of that to still tag hucklerobby⌠why do that if youâre clearly just going to disrespect his character or reduce him into an oc anyway
