Sorry about all those recent posts. I haven’t used tumblr in forever and that was definitely not me. I’ve changed my password now and hopefully fixed the issues.

A fun and useful way to keep inventory!

We made a series of cards that contain all of the items from the equipment packs you start the game with (eg, when you pick warlock, you can choose from the scholar’s or dungeoneer’s pack) and little themed boxes for the items to be kept in!

It started because at the end of every session, I would hold all the treasure cards the DM had given to me with a paperclip on my stack of character sheets, and by the time the next session rolled around, everyone’s stuff was all over the pile. We’d have to sift through to figure out who owned what, so I made little boxes for everyone’s items, then started making item cards, and here we are!

Today at work I named the sergers

Storytime: The Sergin’ General was totally my nickname when I worked at the theater costume shop in college. I was one of the few workers who actually loved using the industrial serger and wasn’t at all scared of it. I even got credited as “the Sergin’ General” in the program for one of the plays. Good times. I miss working there!

Amethyst Plush! 

She is 11.5 inches tall and wearing my favourite of her outfits!

She is made with lilac, black and denim minky, her shirt is velboa and her hair is made of monster fur, styled and glitterified! (not very visible in photos though)

Her face and hands are thread sculpted and this month I will be releasing videos on how i did that, as well as lots of posts on my Patreon about her patterning and making of!

By all means be careful, but the good news is, unless sex traffickers are literally stealing their ad copy from goofy magazine/houseware sales pyramid schemes that have been going on for decades, they’re far more likely to be the same pyramid schemes that have been using these same ads for decades.

The advice not to trust these fliers or the people posting them is pretty good advice, though!

If you followed one of these up, they’d probably try to sell you a bunch of inventory you couldn’t get rid of, and you would make little to no money. So they’re still scams. They’re just typically garden-variety ones. The reason a number of people post fliers with very vague info is because they’re trying to earn bonuses by recruiting people into companies that are widely recognized as scams, so they don’t want people to know the company name before calling and hearing the pitch.

The new Equestria Girls Minis have stands! Why didn’t they do this from the start?! They always had those holes in their feet for them. Anyway...now I want stands for my old figures so they stop falling over and I have no idea how I’m going to procure them, because who would want to get rid of those? That said, if you have any Equestria Girls Mini stands that you don’t want, I need four!

NASA astronaut Karen Nyberg is a self proclaimed crafter. A week ago she made a stuffed dinosaur from scraps on the space station. The little T-rex is made form the lining of Russian food containers and the toy is stuffed with scraps from an old T-shirt. While many toys have flown into space, this is the first produced in space.
