Wood stove, newly installed into Coco’s new Castle. I’m really loving the turns in the chimney pipe as it heads up, up, and out the roof!

HOME IS WHERE THE WOODSTOVE IS!
Behold, my beautiful companion that will keep me warm during those long, cold Canadian winter nights.
I actually broke down and paid rent for a little bachelor’s suite. For the amount of hassle and energy that I would need to spend to find/prepare for another ‘work for rent’ place, it is 'cheaper’ to just spend my dwindling savings and use my time for something more productive - maybe even for paid work here and there.
As it turned out, I couldn’t heat the shack at the Rocking Little Old Lady’s (RLOL’s) land. It was sad and hard to leave (for both of us), but I left knowing that I tried my absolute best to make it work within the limited parameters I was given. Independent little old ladies are understandably quite set in their ways it seems, but maybe we will be able to work something out for next year.
For now - I am pretty excited to nest in one place.
