Anica Cihla is a fresh face on the Bay Area comedy scene, having recently transplanted from Seattle, whose style is an approachable blend of observational humor, self-deprecating anecdotes, and gypsy curses. She has appeared in the 36th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition and the CROM West Comedy Festival in Denver, CO. She worked alongside Jackie Kashian and Maria Bamford during the 2016 All Jane Comedy Festival in Portland, OR, and was a quarterfinalist in the 2016 She-Devil Comedy Festival in NYC. Anica runs a podcast called Hot Gazpacho, where she interviews people about their unusual passions, jobs, or hobbies, and writes for Funny or Die, Tim's Tesseract, and Savage Henry Magazine.
