While I realise what I’m doing might not do much, I think it’s still worth a shot because I dare say I’m not the only gutted Whitechapel fan.
I have gone on Twitter, signed the petition and plan to email ITV later (with nice words of course) and I’m HOPING if we can get JUST enough people doing the same thing, we’d get some closure.
We understand that TV series are a business too, and where budget and marketing is involved, there’s not much that the staff can do. HOWEVER! A quality crime drama of this calibre left in too many loose ends doesn’t seem fair. It deserves AT LEAST a 2-3 episode special or a Xmas special of some sort (and will wait patiently won’t we?) just to honour the title, answer SOME questions and end it with respect. I BELIEVE this is not too much of a stretch to ask for and I THINK I’m not the only one thinking this.
So, while I think 1 last season would’ve been perfect, I understand if it’s not viable on the grounds of budget/marketing limitations BUT I THINK WE DESERVE SOME KIND OF SPECIAL.
