Abel took a deep breath in and let out the air. “I really hope so.” He wasn’t too sure of himself anymore. All he actually knew anymore was how to do his work. Cain was just another foreign subject.

She leaned up, giving the navigator a soft hug. Her lips pressed to his forehead. “Just talk to me if you have any problems, okay?” After pulling back, a smile danced onto her lips. Her finger tapped his nose. “I’m here for you.”

Leaning in towards her body, he let his stress and emotions fall from his breaths. "I just... I just don't know what to do with him anymore. Do... Do I love such a vicious beast? No, it can't be possible."

“Ah yeah… that should be saved with a person that you love.” Thinking back to Cain, he bit his bottom lip. The man had forced himself onto Abel, but at the same time he could feel the enjoyment of it. “Some of the people here are nice though, they don’t care about the sex.”

Kendra sat up, letting the covers fall. “Ya kinda seem.. spacey..” Seems like her sleep could wait. She trotted over to him, sitting on his bed. Her hand settling on his lap. “Ya okay?”

“Yer Welcome. and I seem sane due to everyone wanting to fuck everything. It’s all the sex. It’s kinda understandable. There’s a lotta hormones ragin’ and shit..” She waved her hand lazily. “I would know a thing of how to do it.. seein’ how half the people here take it up.. well.. y’know.. “Heh, I think I’m alright for now.” He chuckled nervously. “But I’m sorry, I hope no one had done anything to you or anything like that… I-uh, yeah! Don’t worry, I’ll come back to work right away!”

“Good. I’m sleepin’.” Kendra kicked off her uniform, sliding under her own sheets. “You can do whatever.. I already did today’s work.. so you got to start tomorrow..” A yawn escaped the petite female. “Still better keep the secret I ain’t you guys gender or else I’ll be booted out of ‘ere, Abel.”

“Does a lack of sleep count at trouble? Yer lucky I like ya as a friend or else I might of whacked ya with somethin’. Preferably hard.” Kendra let out a sigh, unzipping her uniform a little, showing her bandaged chest(for binding purposes). “Hopefully yer sleep didn’t make ya forget anythin’..”

“Calm down, babe.. Y’know I’m only thinkin’ of you.” He scoffed gently, shrugging his shoulders. The Fighter practically purred. 

“What d’you say, Abel… I’ll make you forget all about work.”

Abel couldn't resist the fighter no matter how hard he tried. "That seems like a good idea. Please, distract me Cain."

◘ | Entanglement of Emotions |◘

         ♣/ …—He didnt really know what to think when he found Abel avoiding him in every way possible. Cain was a simple man with simple needs. Those soft touches at night to the look he would give before they headed their seperate ways at work.

          He grumbled loudly as he wiped at his back and his face. Cain poked and prodded at his nose and cheeks while looking the mirror. The lack of sleep was getting to his head. The constant wonder of what this mission was really about was on his mind as well, knocking at him when he tried to sleep and making him sick when he tried to eat.

          Cain pulled at the dark bags under his eyes, only slightly swollen but dark enough to be noticeable. Now they couldn’t spend as much time together, he knew. Sometimes he would snag the Navigator away during work and just ravish him senseless in a secluded place.

          The thrill was electrifying, the feeling of being caught. Just having Abel near him was enough sometimes. But those thoughts stayed in the corner of his mind. No need to think about that now..

          He pulled his boxers up and put away his towel, messing with his hair slightly. Abel was outside on the bed, maybe on the networks. Stupid kid always worked overtime. Maybe tonight he would ask what was really wrong.

Emotions seemed to be one of the worst enemies that fought against Abel's mind. Sinking deep into his sanity, they took control over the little thoughts that would pass him by. Taunting and teasing him, they tugged on the strings that were the most vulnerable to him. 

Abel aimed for work and only work. Keeping his head up in the clouds of numbers and functions, the thoughts of Cain disappeared. This was a critical time for the both of them. One slip up could cost the fighter and the navigator not only their jobs, but their lives.

Hearing the door open sent chills up Abel's spine. The presence of the fighter made his whole body freeze. Just staring at the screen, he couldn't move the rest of him. 

It was almost like Cain had Abel under some kind of spell.
