SOPHIE HIRSCH is 24 years old and looks like Holliday Grainger

BIOGRAPHY

Sophie comes from a Jewish family and unlike herself everyone else is interested in Art and History. Forced to study both subjects to get money from her parents and fulfill her grandfather’s last will she turned back on the life she should have once she got the money to stand on own feet. Studied not only subjects her family been forcing her to Sophie also studied Management and used her money and knowledge to buy of London’s fashion companies. Investing and changing style of Burberry her face was all over the papers and within a few months Sophie was well known but not trusted. Her first year in business proved her haters wrong. Sophie knew well how to run business and even better how to seduce designers to work exclusively for her. Newspapers spread rumours and pictures of her affairs but no one was kept long to chain her. Young Miss Hirsch loves freedom and making experiences. Not caring what others write or say about her Sophie hasn’t spoken to her family in a few years and stayed with her friends instead. Necessary to be her friend is money and even better a lot of it. Enjoying parties and following no rules Sophie is disgusted by Whitechapel itself but still pays visits to her favourite clubs because of their privacy. A few weeks before the murder series began his company was taken from another and Sophie itself was degraded to Store Manager in center of London. Hate and revenge are her leading actions still trying to find out who could perform such actions without her knowledge of it.  

When the murder series began Sophie felt safe outside of Whitechapel but reads White Star whenever she joins her friends at clubs. No suspicion who might be the female killer Sophie admires it’s a woman who rules the dark places of London. Asking herself how much courage she has herself Sophie lately starts question her choice of friends and what she actually knows about them - are they worth her trust?

Sophie is selfish and superficial like the rest of her friends. Eager to be top of the world she lets no one gets between her and her dreams. Never actually been in love she still knows how to seduce and get what she needs in business and personal life. 

No longer in contact with her family Sophie is proud of all she achieved herself and doesn’t care what is said about her old life. Her religion has never been useful to her and she gave up on it once she did everything her grandfather’s will asked of her.

CHLOÉ LILOU DELACROIX is 32 years old and looks like Clemence Poesy

BIOGRAPHY

Chloé was born in Évry in one of five ville nouvelles, new small cities close to Paris. Since birth she is deaf and hears the world in eyes and gestures of people around her. Born to a deaf parents there was never any discussion about cochlear implant and even with option Chloé would have chosen against it. She lives in her own world without sound or music but with truth, hope and a way to show her emotions. Chloé has always been a flower girl and wanted to learn all their names. At young age she started her own collection of every flower she could find and added those she read about in books. Without anyone to talk to at home she never learned to speak and expresses herself in sign language and written words. Words and flowers mean everything to her since her parents died in a car accident. With the money they left her Chloé moved to Paris but felt lost and found peace in a convent where she studied botany. With help of a nun she got used to Paris being taken to weekly gocery shopping for the convent and other things she was asked to do. After five years at convent she found a little place to stay and opened her own flower shop. Living on it’s first floor she barely gets out in the city and prefers to known places. Still in contact with convent she brings flowers every sunday and in special circumstances like funerals. The day her helpful nun died was the first Chloé wasn’t able to go to convent. Broken by memories of the woman who had been a second mother to her she turned her back on convent and moved on. Her flower shop near Seine was her everything and beloved by customers. Her neighbours are friendly and since the shop is growing she has an employee.

Life was good and peaceful until one night she woke up hearing a noise. She ran helpless into the group of thieves who destroyed all her flowers and more. Chloé was lucky a passanger came along and helped her. Scared and no one to trust her hero came looking for her and when he moved to London Chloé follower. It was a risk to open a new flower shop in one of the darkest areas in London but with the new police force Chloé had someone to trust and asked for protection. Her heroes and soon new made friendships got Chloé a few contact for delivering flowers to a London restaurant and the local brothel and church everyday and get even more contacts of restaurants, hotels and private customers. Chloé got back on her feet but the fear never lets her go. She knows her friends like to see her falling in love and marry a man who saves her at night but Chloé never was in love before and doubts anyone can love a deaf.

Chloé is shy since not many people understand her speaking sign language. She prefers to be on her own and be with people she can count on still she is open to meet new people and is kind to everyone. At night she is easily frightened and panics with every seen shadow.

Losing family and anything similiar too early she is like a child when it comes to intense feelings. Chloé has also never been in love afraid anyone use her deafness to break her heart she is easy with friends but mistrust any feelings she doesn’t know. Chloé herself is not ashamed of her being deaf and is proud to make a living when others give up on her.

BIOGRAPHY

Alexander was born in America to a British couple returning back home with their newborn son and surprised both families. He doesn’t actually know the place where he was born but grew up with two citizienships and kept it this way. His parents were never traditionally and celebrated their own special days. Alexander felt different and alone at school struggling between his family and what everyone else was doing and living like. As a young boy who wanted friends Alexander decided against his parents as often as he got the chance. Interested in subjects like history and ethic he grew apart from his parents. For some time he wanted to became a history professor but in his teenager years he lost interest in history and preferred all kind of sports instead. Not knowing what to do with his talent he declined a sport scholarship and took a chance to be a police inspector one day. In London police inspectors were old and Alexander hoped for many retirements to get promotoed sooner since there had to be a need. His job is important to him since he is able to stand up for his morals and proved older police men he was a faster runner than anyone of them.

Since the murder series begun police men were indeed needed and Alexander began working with a partner who was different and it seemed Isaac and Alexander had nothing in common. But they agreed on one thing - London had to be saved from crime and corruption growing within and untraceable by law. While Alexander wasn’t giving up on his principles and Isaac had strict rules and was violent. Alexander had to make a decision when they got offered to move to Leman Street and bring law to Whitechapel and proved himself to his partner knowing a secret about Isaac Martin he’d choose to keep. Since the case of the lost and found (and again lost) tourist he slowly gets closer with his older partner and has his back during every night. Apart from work Alexander has friends, some even for a lifetime, he wouldn’t want to lose any of them and would die for them.

Alexandee is charming and sometimes a dreamer. Isaac calls him too emotional since he always asks ‘why’ a crime happened and keeps searching until the final hint. Alexander is passionate and tolerant unless someone breaks the law.

Alexander is patient and a good listener but keeps forgetting and cause chaos wherever he is. He has no tolerance for drugs and wants to end it’s reign.

ISAAC MARTIN is 40 years old and looks like Idris Elba

Occupation: Police Inspector

BIOGRAPHY

Isaac made his first experience in the streets of Whitechapel 5 years ago working on a case of a missing girl. He had begged to take this case even it wasn’t his division working for drug squad at this time but willing to prove he could do more than this. Isaac always wanted more and worked hard to lead his one division. The case of the missing girl still took longer than expected and Isaac grew impatient. He turned down any offer of help and tried to get into Whitechapel’s society instead. That rotten place was disgusting him and Isaac had no intention to make any friends, neither he had anyone in police force he trusted and started to grow hateful when the case was taken from him. Isaac had to return without her and back to his life in Soho. Living on his own his only companion was his dog ‘Butcher’.  His loyal friend was the only thing left when Isaac felt like he lost his chances with his job. Still not willing to give up he moved back to Whitechapel and started picking up local cases on his own and unknown to the force. Unprotected in his new area he messed with one criminal group too much and was beaten down after men broke into his house and let him watch while they slaughtered Butcher. Isaac has not seen a face of tha group of six but has sworn revenge for his only friend. At work he got interested in all cases in Whitechapel until his boss stopped him by making sure he had a partner to watch him. The young boy was nothing of Isaacs taste but it turned our he was the chance Isaac needed. 

When the new crime series began Isaac grabbed the boy and applied as team for the new H Division in Whitechapel. Living in this area and been on cases there before finally got him in charge of the small department he rules with loyality and respect for this force but violence and hate for all criminal scum hiding in Whitechapel like the dark age of London had never abandoned this place. During the process of acceptance for his new job he was often asked about his background and still feels watched even more when a woman ran in front of his car, his missing case. Isaac let the young woman stay at his place until she disappeared again without giving him any informations about where she has been and who to blame.

Isaac is impatient and unkind during work. He takes revenge as serious as a free city. Always suspicious he trusts no one but is kind with dogs. He was loyal and peaceful before ‘Butcher’ was killed but closed his heart ever since.

Having no family and for a long time no girlfriend he stopped caring if others enjoy his company but he still has a sense for a better world and if one proves him the same morals he will slowly accept them as equal.

BIOGRAPHY

Serafina was born in Romania to a warm and happy family in a rural and uneducated village. She was spoiled beyond belief with all that her parents could afford until she turned seven and her mother developed an incurable disease. Sera was with her mother moments before she died. One minute she went out to fetch some water to calm her mother’s fever, and the next her mother was still and cold. Her father remained present in her life, but cold, no longer able to look at Seraphina without seeing her mother. Sera began to do things for his attention, and not good things. She got involved in drugs and  illegal trades receiving her fair share of government punishment.

When Sera turned 19 an Englishman approached her, offering her the world if she left with him to go back to Britain. Sera, feeing scorned and abandoned left her father and moved to England without a second glance. She thought things were working out until the man began bringing his friends over to look at the gem he brought back from Romania. Not being able to speak much english she wasn’t able to communicate properly with them and tell them off for touching her. Soon, it became a game for the men and they would do things like drug her so they could take advantage of her. One night, when Sera had enough, she fought her captors, ending up black and blue and thrown out on the street.

That was when a woman approached her. The woman told Sera about her business, a brothel for lack of better words. The woman took Seraphina under her wing, supplying her with books so Sera could better communicate in English with clients and receive some sort of education. Sera continues to work at the brothel wherever she is needed, and knows how to keep her emotions separate from her work.

BIOGRAPHY

Colette was born as daughter of a French mother and British father, growing up in France she never give up on having two Citizienships. Living in Paris she was a French girl growing up looking at the Eiffel Tower and knowing the city of love like the back of her hand. At school she was one of the good students even she wasn’t interested in any subject. She didn’t apply for any college and worked on a model carreer instead. Her skinny figure and her unbroken will pushed her to fight for her dreams and get a chance to walk for unknown designers but it changed quickly after her first days of fashion week. She was booked for known designers and get in contact with many agents. She only had to choose and her dream would become real. She felt like flying and went to parties with other models starting to make friends when an accident shattered her dream. A scar still reminds her of betrayal and a new beginning. Colette never got back to modeling after her new friends had turned their backs on her and moved on without her. An article about the fallen new star was too much and Colette left Paris to move to London and start a new life. She wanted something different and not longer be the pretty broken model. Colette worked hard to work for New Scotland Yard always chasing for her next promition. However investigations on crime scenes weren’t her interest but a free position as new Internal Investigator.

While a new division was formed in Whitechapel to prevent any hype on a new Ripper series Colette worked on detecting corrupted cops within their own forces. Colette has to do a lot work on background checks and left no one unwatched. No private life was untouched by her curiosity and her favourite victim became DI Martin after letting a missing person escape again. Colette let no man tell her what to think of do and life according to her own rules. Living on her own she still has a sense for luxury remembering her dream years ago but apart from this doesn’t look back. She has a few friends who know not to ask of her past and avoids getting in trouble herself and stays away from cars only taking the Underground.

BIOGRAPHY

Legend says every Irish has a voice to sing. Brian proved this legend learning nothing else but playing his guitar. He didn’t go to school and played street music dreaming of singing his own songs to a larger crowd instead he had to return to his father’s farm and help to take care of sheeps and cows which were more important than the useless boy. Brian’s father often said so and didn’t show any love for his only son who was unable to help his father when he got a stroke. Brian’s father died on his beloved farm which Brian had to sell to make a living. Travelling from town to town he saw the darker side of every city and how the side streets got crowded while everyone looked away not wanted to see misery. Brian didn’t want to do what everyone did and took time to speak or played “Yesterday” to the lost and hopeless thinking back of a better time. When Brian made it to London his guitar got shattered in a fight and he saved himself hiding in the dark streets of Whitechapel and been picked up by someone who would help him.

Doing small jobs for his friend and sharing a flat Brian had to wait for his time to sing and play again. He still goes every day to the dark streets where no one wants to go and stays with the lost ones who have no hope anymore life will ever be different or even better again. Brian learned quickly to stay away from dealers and drugs who were looking for workers in those parts of the city, but Brian was not interested to join any dirty business even it is still the fastest growing business not only in Whitechapel. Reading the local newspapers he finally found an article looking for a musician to sing at a small pub. When he arrived someone else had already been hired but he tried it nonetheless. His new boss accepted to hire him if he gets along with another musician in a duet - so far it worked.

Brian is a dreamer who hasn’t closed his eyes to reality. His voice is his music and he loves instruments more than people. Even he never finished school he is clever and learns quickly.

First week, no secrets but happy announcement
