He is seventeen, which means he is still a minor and somebody’s child.

The age of consent is not a magical adulthood switch, nor is it permission for grown strangers to sexualize him online.

Legality and basic decency are not the same fucking thing.

Stop using technicalities to excuse behavior that is plainly inappropriate.

This is the fucking line.

Ship fictional characters with each other, with monsters, or with the furniture for all I care. The moment that behavior crosses over onto real people, especially minors, it stops being harmless fandom nonsense and becomes parasocial, predatory, and deeply fucking disturbing.

Social media platforms need to regulate this far more seriously. Accounts sexualizing minor actors should be reported and removed, and any behavior that crosses legal boundaries should be investigated by the proper authorities.

This anon’s need to defend the sexualization of a seventeen-year-old actor is alarming. There is no innocent reason to argue this hard against such a basic boundary.
