The highly sensitive [introverted] tend to be philosophical or spiritual in their orientation, rather than materialistic or hedonistic. They dislike small talk. They often describe themselves as creative or intuitive. They dream vividly, and can often recall their dreams the next day. They love music, nature, art, physical beauty. They feel exceptionally strong emotions—sometimes acute bouts of joy, but also sorrow, melancholy, and fear. Highly sensitive people also process information about their environments—both physical and emotional—unusually deeply. They tend to notice subtleties that others miss—another person’s shift in mood, say, or a lightbulb burning a touch too brightly.
Susan Cain (via the-healing-nest)
“If you’re breathing, God has a purpose for you. As long as you have breath, someone needs what you have. Your gifts, your talent, your love, your smile.”
My dearest granmother. Reminded me always of the Proverbs 31 woman #livedGreatly #Proverbs31
Completely indivisible she was formed in His image
God took her gracious soul and molded her in secret
Carefully capturing and planting everything that she was
Atoms that combined a formula that only God created
NEH 8:10
“For the joy of the Lord is my Strength”
She was the pigment in the sun that shared His glorious light
Bringing life, light and genes into our blood
Laughter was her name
She injected joy in the air…
in the air we breathe
The Chlorophyll that photosynthesized the seed that raised her children
My dear mother into the beautiful Rose she is
A faithful servant that never forgot anything
She was a nurse that served the broken
That guided us to complete harmony’
her hands that lifted prosperity and integrity
And feet that walked with direction
in the direction she’s walking right now with Our Dearest Father
In her White garment, now in total perfection, Shes one with Jesus our Lord in Spirit
Lets turn our mourning into laughter
Dance and be HAPPY , had it not been for her creation
I wouldn’t be here. Writing this poem to her
On her death bed the unbearable pain she yeared
The holy Spirit held her in distress
In His mighty power to deliver her from anguish
That caused an immediate reason for her to smile involuntary
Thank you
