Mum brought up some old photos for me to look at the other day. Loads and loads, most of them from about 5 years ago.
I also noticed she snapped a bunch of me from when Steven got his gum stuck in my hair instead of helping me. Clearly she has an evil streak.
I feel kind of bad about Steven, he looked so guilty! The pixie cut wasn’t that bad, looking back.
You afraid of anything?
I don’t know... I’m scared of lots of things, really, you know, deadly things... drowning, getting hit by a bus, etc... I don’t much like spiders...
Is it wrong to have fantasies about your boss?
I found a couple really promising looking romances the other day. A bit beat up, but that’s all right. Good enough for my purposes!
I’ve heard a bit about the author, but haven’t actually picked up anything till now. One looks like it’s about a woman who time travels back to the American west and meets this really dishy Native American fellow... and this other one is a lady detective and a rival on the force or something. I’m starting the first one tonight.

No, not really, I mean there were a few nasty girls back in primary school... But I haven’t really seen them since!
I know it's not polite to ask a lady this, but since I'm a lady as well, I figure it's okay. How old are you? Also where do you live, are you on your own? or with a special someone?
Oh, well uh, I guess there’s no harm in answering that... I’m 22 and living at home with my Mum in Bristol.
There’s a cute little second-hand bookshop near here. Maybe I’ll stop by after work! I think I’ve reread most of my books at least 3 times...
Where do you work ? and what's your education?
I’m a receptionist at a law office at the moment. I mostly do temp secretarial work like my Mum.
As for my education, well, I haven’t gone to university... I passed secondary of course.
I really do like this office, it’s nicer than a lot of the ones I’ve temped for. Maybe I can get on full time?
I’m so hungry... I was running late again, so no breakfast. I’m really tempted to go buy one of those massive chocolate muffins... only I don’t want Mr. Chanda to see me with one of those things. I don’t need my hot manager taking a look at my thighs and the muffin and putting two and two together.
Still, I’m going to kill a plate of pasta at lunch. Figuratively. Well, sort of literally... I am eating it, so if it weren’t already dead I imagine that would do it... okay, this is getting disgusting. I’m getting a chocolate.
