We all have our very own individual experiences and wishes, but sometimes we tend to forget that they exist. As some may know, I started studying law and politics in a foreign city. A city I didn’t knew and til this day don’t know. My mental health began to fade (I was never the healthiest person) and with every day I spend there, I felt like I was losing my core more and more. In the end, I decided it was only right to change my choice and end this experience, even though I enjoyed my studies very much. I came back to my home town, defeated and afraid. I felt like I was at the beginning again, having accomplished nothing.At this point, there was nothing that truly made sense to me anymore and I spend a lot of time being trapped. But then a certain day came which helped me realize, that no one truly knows at our young years what they want, where life will take them in the end. I just wanted to tell you that it is not to late to change your mind and pick a different path. No matter if it seems like all your other friends have found their way in life. Believe me, they don’t. And nobody should because it’s luckily only the beginning. A beginning you can influence. I personally don’t know who I am and who I want to be. It gave me so many sleepless nights and only when I realised that there are no right or wrong choices and that everything is changeable, I was able to calm my heart.
