You might think that cables and chords tangle themselves due to a combination of tiny vibrations over time and the initial position and elastic potential of the cables in question.
You might think that leaving the cable in a dense spiral (the most common storing method) would allow the "upper strings" to fall to the side over time, but (due to the elastic tension at the other end of the part that fell) they wouldnāt fall perfectly to the ground, which would result in the tangles and knots.
YOU WOULD BE WRONG!!!
The truth that so many don't want to accept is that there are nefarious creatures that sneak into people's homes with their only intention being to knot and tangle their cables, chords, and wires! Creatures so foul that they do this heinous act for no reason other than wicked glee.
These elusive and slippery beings are known only as the āCable Elvesā, and there is no house, home, or building safe from their evil entangling ways.

After many hours of tedious work, I can finally share with you my recreation of Fordās handwriting in Journal 3!

Itās in no way perfect, mainly due to my complete lack of font-creating experience, but I did my best to make it as accurate to the Journal as possible! Below is a quote from the page labeled āJuly 18thā:
so a while ago i made a font for bills handwriting from the journal, but i wasnt quite satisfied with it because the brush i used was different from whatever his pages/notes were originally written with. BUT i found a new brush in firealpaca that works better + i just redid some letters to make them more accurate. hereās a comparison with the previous font:

as with the last one i am using a free website so some symbols are missing, but the important stuff is there!! obviously you can use whichever one you like but i think this one is more accurate and is a bit more fun (:
This cipher, which is called āFordeseā, is what Iāll be decoding today!
As you can see, itās a substitution āA=_ā cipher, like Billās!
Using the key, Iāve had a lot of fun deciphering these messages. Note that I donāt have the special blacklight version, so there may be some extra in it that I canāt decipher.

I'm having a conversation with a pagan mom right now who thinks that dark forces are after her, so she's tried all the things that she knows... which apparently is not checking the hvac system for leaks.
Shes mad at me because I suggested getting an inspection because shes lived in the house for 14 years and she's always seen things like this and it's just gotten worse since she took over the house. So idk if this is like a common thing or not but ever since I was little theres been these shadow children that tend to come out at night in my house. If it's dark enpugh they will follow me around, hiding at the edges of doorways and walls, get as close as the possibly can, pawing at the doorway and just barely umable to reach me.
I saw them again tonight but in larger numbers than I've noticed in many years. I tried using some basic magic on them to get them to back off, but it didn't work. However the didn't dare step in my room where my main wards are set up! In my youth they'd claw at the edge of the bed.
Shadow people are a common form of hallucination. Common enough they've got their own wikipedia page. Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, methamphetamine usage, CO2 leaks, and sleep paralysis can all make you see shadow people, and I'm sure there are other mundane things that can do that too.
Before you assume something is a supernatural phenomenon, you've gotta rule out any mundane causes. In the case of creepy shadow children, that means checking your CO2 detector and making sure nothing physical is messing with your head. If you're taking psych meds and you've changed them recently, maybe go back to the old dosage/med. Stuff like that.
Like, I am not an expert on the occult- this could be something supernatural, idk- but I know enough about psychology to say "this might be the sign of a bigger problem, talk to your doctor".
Black mold in the walls can also cause hallucinations similar to this and would also account for long-term exposure that fluctuates depending on season.

This was just practice. It looks better in marker than it does in pen or pencil, simply because the lines are bigger. Not perfect but itās legible and thatās what matters to me.
I misspelled a word at the bottom, putting Vev instead of Usk. Hvman I guess lmao Grek and Usk are also really fucking difficult to tell apart, but Iām working on it. Iām also struggling to write Osk, as you can see.
Started decorating the inner blank flap of my cipher journal. I donāt have a wide variety of stickers, but I put what I felt was appropriate. Cringe? Yeah. But itās better than a blank page.
