Yesterday i began thinking about the Clowns as Pets meme and…..
i’m sick and tired of seeing people adopting clowns and getting bored of them after a few months and getting rid of them just to get a new one.
a clown is not some toy you can throw away!! they are living creatures who have feelings and some get attached to their new family quite quick. getting rid of them after only have them for a few months can confuse them and destroy their self esteem.
please, if you’re considering getting a clown, make sure you really want one, and are willing to love and care for it. they can live long happy lives if you raise them correctly.
Yes.
This is very true, there have been plentiful cases of Clowns being mindlessly purchased for children on holidays only to be neglected, given away, and even abandoned out in the wild to fend for themselves.
This is extremely damaging, and dangerous. And I in no way encourage adopting a Clown unless you are serious about following through with the proper care needed.
In the case you do need to get rid of your Clown PLEASE just turn in the clown to a professional, well reviewed, and safe center. Do not sell the Clown to any unlicensed businesses, and do NOT release it into the wild.
These Clowns are often bred and domesticated, they have likely never been in the wild before and will have no experience to go off of. It will leave them very frightened and vulnerable for predators, or to being picked up by Clown Fighters. In the case they are picked up by Clown Fighters and put into a Clown fighting ring, the weak and friendly clown will be used for nothing but abuse and likely slaughter.
Moral of the story: Take Clown adopting seriously, and if you can’t, get rid of your Clown safely. Please.
