parties were the best! at least that's how winnie felt about them. what was better than dancing with your friends all night and just having a good time? winnie loved them and if her friends were there, she was going to be too. this time she made sure not to get distracted and she'd only done so once! she considered that progress. as she approached the tracks, she sees a familiar face. the boy from the ball! she can't describe how happy she was to see him. he was so nice and that was something that would always stand out to her. she never did get a chance to have that dance with him. " hey! " she calls out catching up to him. " i was hoping i'd see you here! " she greets cheerfully, smiling from ear to ear. @gusgriswald
winnie's party look
wholesomewinnie:
kanga’s distress causes winnie to frown. it was an honest accident! something that happened often when winnie got lost in her surroundings. there were a number of clothing items of hers she’d ruined by not paying attention. oh, she’d be fine! kanga had to know that! “ it wasn’t your fault, miss roo! i promise! ” she assures her. she’d never blame her either. “ i wasn’t paying attention, like always. don’t you worry. ” she tells her grabbing some napkins she’d had with her glass to blot the stain. winnie looks up at her and nods with a soft smile, “ okay! but don’t blame yourself anymore. it was just an accident. ”
winnie was so sweet, kanga felt so lucky that her daughter had found friends as nice as her. of course she still felt a little guilty for the collision, but hopefully they’d be able to save her dress still. placing her hand on the younger girl’s back, she began to maneuver them towards the bar to replace her spilled shirley temple first. “i’ll try not to, dear. you look wonderful, by the way. i don’t think i had the chance to tell you that before this whole mess,” she chuckles softly at the words, smiling at the bartender once they reach the drinks station and ordering two shirley temples. “i hope this doesn’t stop you from having a good night. have you been enjoying yourself so far at least?”
the girl follows kanga to the bar, happy to be getting herself another drink. shirley temples had always been her favorite since she was a child. hearing kanga's words, winnie smiles warmly at the woman. she thought she looked wonderful? such a compliment made her heart soar. " oh thank you miss roo! i think you look beautiful too. " winnie had always been thankful for the woman, she was always so sweet and welcoming of her. she knew if she ever needed someone, she could go to her and that was comforting. " i'm getting another drink! plus i've been dancing and the food has been just delicious. oh and i met one of the sweetest boys. it's still one of the best night's ever! "
“Oh, d-dear.” Pia’s stutter came out as they observed their surroundings at the ball, wringing their hands. “I’m pretty uh… under dressed.” They muttered under their breath, glancing down at their own outfit as their cheeks heated up. “I should’ve known better…”
" you look beautiful, pia! " winnie declares happily. she knew they were anxious around people but a big crowd like this, she knew their anxiety had to be going into overdrive. " there's no such thing as underdressed as long as you're comfortable and happy. " she gently reaches for her best friend's hand. " it's just us, don't worry about everyone else. let's dance! "
there is so much love in friendship, people forget that
wholesomewinnie:
“ oh pooh.. ” winnie pouts following the collision. the shirley temple she’d been holding now spilled down the front of her dress and glass on the floor. of course she was sad, she did love a good shirley temple but she supposed she should have been paying more attention to where she was going. “ i’m okay kanga, ” the younger girl assures her with a decisive nod. “ no use crying over a spilled shirley temple. ” she laments before meeting the woman’s eyes, “ are you alright? ” she asks, more concerned about her friend’s mother than her ruined dress. “ i didn’t get any on you, did i? ”
kanga’s distress over the situation doubled once she realized it was one of her daughter’s friends that she had bumped into. and she had made them spill their drink. “oh winnie,” she breathed, reaching out to place a hand on the younger girl’s arm. “i’m so sorry, dear. that dress looks amazing on you and now i went and ruined it.” frowning slightly, she realized that winnie was indeed right - no use crying over a spilled shirley temple. “here, let’s go get you another drink and then we can stop by my table to see if i still have one of my stain sticks in my purse. okay? maybe we can still save this night regardless of my clumsiness.”

winnie breathes a sigh of relief. it wouldn’t have been the first time she got so distracted she missed an event and disappointed her friends in the process. it was never intentional but remained a bad habit of hers. “ oh thank goodness! if i missed this, i don’t know what i would do. ” she says to the boy, smoothing out her dress. of course if it wasn’t over she didn’t understand why he was outside. she’d been so worried about being on time, she didn’t exactly hear what he’d said a moment ago. good job, winnie. “ if it’s not over, why are you out here? ” she asks, looking over at him. he seemed nervous and winnie was curious as to why. it wasn’t over so the ball could wait a few more minutes. “ surely you have friends or a date waiting for you inside. you can’t have the time of your life standing out here in the cold! ”
She was so excited for the dance and Gus wondered how that must feel. Of course, he was excited about things but too many times negative thoughts entered his mind and twisted whatever thing he was currently thinking about. Like now… with the dance but he wasnt about to let this girl now that. He needed to make a good first impression and admitting that the thought of entering the ball with all those people and all those germs made his skin crawl was not a good one. “Just taking a small breather. Its really great in there and I just needed to step out for a bit.” It was a poor lie but easy enough to be believable so he hoped it landed. “No.. no date. I came with my friend TJ. Just, ya know, two guys going stag and enjoying the night,” He grimaced at what he just said before shaking his head and looking back to her. “Not… we arent… I am here with some friends.”
winnie firmly believed in carpe diem and didn't want to take any day for granted. while her way of going about it wasn't doing as much in a day as she could, she still appreciated each day by taking it in and honoring it. sure it mean she missed a lot of things but, at least she was grateful for what she did get to experience. this ball was certainly an experience she was grateful for. a night of magic and love. friends old and new. new! like the boy she happened to meet tonight. " aw that's sweet! " winnie replies happily. " valentine's day isn't just for romantic love, it's for all love! " she points out, at least that's what it always was for winnie. she'd buy a gift for her mom and one for her nana. all love was important to her. " i think it's totally cool you came with tj! i'm meeting my friends here, we're all together. "

winnie should have been here two hours ago but as usual she got caught up. first hearing how her mother met her father at one of these balls and again taking her time as she walked through town and watched the stars along the way. “ oh dear, i’ve missed it. i’ve missed the whole ball. ” she says to herself as she rushes to the castl. spotting a boy outside and overhearing him talking to himself, she thinks perhaps he’s late too. winnie can’t help but ask, “ the ball isn’t over is it? i haven’t missed the whole thing have i? ”
Looking up at the girl, Gus faltered for a moment trying to hide the small gasp. She was so bright and happy and… and one of the most beautiful people Gus had ever seen. “Uh…. um..” Stopping for a moment to push his glasses up his nose he shook his head trying to get his brain to think of anything. “No no… no. You have not missed the ball. It seems to still be going on if the music is anything to go by.” God he wished he had brought his fidget toy to play with at this moment. “Im sure its going to go on for awhile now. No need to stop all the fun so early in the night.”

Gus sucked in a deep breath clapping his hands together before taking a few sure steps for the ball. “I can do this. My friends are there. There arent… that many germs. I can d….” He stopped hearing someone cough. “You know, on second thought, maybe todays not my day.”

“oh, my dear, i’m so sorry,” kanga apologizes as she steps away from the person she had just bumped into. so distracted by trying to find the familiar head of red hair that was her daughter, she hadn’t bothered to really pay much attention to where she was going. “are you alright, darling?” it didn’t seem like too bad of a collision, but it’s always best to make sure.

Get to know WINIFRED “WINNIE” POOH who’s TWENTY-ONE years old and a JUNIOR in college majoring in PSYCHOLOGY. She is from CORONA and is often times mistaken for MADDIE BAILLIO while others say she reminds them of WINNIE THE POOH from WINNIE THE POOH..
THE BASICS.
from a very young age, winnie was enthralled by the beauty of the world. from when she was old enough to walk, she'd wander around her mother's garden picking flowers and exploring the area around her. she was intrigued by everything and had a respect for nature that she couldn't really explain.
always the optimist, winnie finds a way to stay positive in even the worst of situations. being negative only dragged you down and being down hindered seeing the beauty of everything around you and the good things you were blessed with.
she's always had a sweet tooth, that wasn't a secret. it all started with her grandmother's famous honey cake. she was hooked from the beginning. she couldn't get enough. it spurred her love of baking and it's something she still does and loves 'til this day. she's known to go on long baking sessions and deliver them to her friends and loved ones.
winnie chose to study psychology because she truly wants to help those in need. seeing people suffer from mental illnesses hurts her. it's something they can't help but something they can get help for. she would like to work with children but isn't opposed to working with adults as well.
she knows she's slow and not the best at being a friend but, she tries and she thinks that should count for something. she's always apologetic and attempts to make things up to those she's hurt. her heart is always in the right place.
she's very apologetic and forgetful, most definitely a pushover. she's often taken advantage of for her kind heart and gentle nature.
winnie's fave things include: the color yellow, sunflowers, honey, athlesuire, cozy sweaters, sundresses, summer, smiles, and body positivity.
FUN FACTS.
