4 years old Josiah comforting Bran. Josiah doesn't start talking at all until he turns 4. Bran doesn't talk much during their first years together, so Josiah doesn't really have anyone to learn words from.

After settling down with Santi to raise the boah, Santi doesn't shut his mouth AT ALL, so Josiah starts learning a thousand words in English and Spanish all at once, and by age 4, he's catching up with everything he didn't learn. Something he hears often from Santi is "I'll take care of you", and he starts hearing it from Bran too, so he starts repeating it, specially back to Bran who is struggling with guilt more than anything for living with Santi after all the pain he caused to his family.

And yes, Josiah still calls Bran "ma".

I kinda gave up rendering this, I was gonna add some cows in the back to make it look like their little ranch but I'm laaaaazy.

I had this idea while I was switching between the current 3 games I'm playing. I had forgotten just HOW GOOD dragon quest ix was, I just got lost in it like, gOD I NEED TO DRAW ANGELS.

This is kind of a spiritual sequence of my mashup painting of shadow of the colossus and rdr2, instead of Arthur dead at the shrine of worship, he's alive and happy with his guardian angel. Sorry idk where my mind goes when it has ideas. I haven't been well. Not being well is what fuels me to paint shit like this.

I'm also going through some art block of some sorts.

Too many gay men

Yes I gave William my full name. And my scar. And my random dots on the face. I SWEAR HE AINT ME THO. anyway. All of those Harland doodles are from last year cuz I hate him so I won't bother drawing him ever again.

Harland was William's partner before Joel, Joel was actually sent to replace Harland. Harland, who's dying pretty soon, one day just woke up and decided to abandon everything he knew, including his old friend and partner at work, William. Didn't leave a note or say anything, just left, never giving William a chance of saying goodbye. Will is grieving him without even knowing if he's dead or not.

Fast forward 5 months, Joel is sent to work with him. William learns that Joel had a chance of saying goodbye to someone important to him, but never did, so Will absolutely HATES JOEL'S GUTS. He also hates him because Will wants to quit his job because it's a trigger, everything reminds him of his friend who left/died, and Joel wants to stay at work because going home is a trigger and everything there reminds him of his dead wife.

Joel also looks sick as hell, so Will is like what the fuck why are they sending me another dying guy to work with.

Anyway I love troubled old men.
