Mood bc I’ve worshipped Aphrodite the longest but feel the closest with Nebthet
Question, how many people work with Nebthet (Nephthys) or have something related to her within their Aset (Isis) altars?
Im just curious, as a Nebthet devotee who only really sees content related to Lady Aset
Growing up is actually just enjoying the exact same things you enjoyed at 14 years old, but in a more gay way
okay??
while house-hunting yesterday, I took this photo of a lake that was on the property. It had freshly rained, the birds were out, and I could feel the kiss of cool wind against my face.
People talk about not being able to believe in the gods, feeling as if they’re separate from them, or that they feel distanced from their practice… and I can’t understand.
When I get to experience things like this, that feeling of peace that fills my being, is how I think of the gods. They’re the lotus flowers I saw yesterday, the bird songs I could hear, the air that filled my lungs, and I feel content with the idea that we really aren’t separate from the divine. It’s all around us, at all times, and you just have to notice.
Reblog if you’re an active anti-fascist pagan blog in 2026!!!
I’m looking for moots :-) (I follow from my main)
I (masculine) am parched with thirst and am dying; but grant me to drink from the ever-flowing spring. On the right is a white cypress. ‘Who are you? Where are you from?’ I am a son of Earth and starry sky. But my race is heavenly.
Translation of a Greek inscription from the second half of the 4th century B.C.
i am a son of Earth and Starry Sky 😭
I GOT A PERFECT SCORE ON ONE OF MY MAJOR EXAMS!!! Praised be Lord Djehuty and Lady Athena!!
(out of curiosity and as a person who grew up christian and is now pagan an still has an attachment to rosaries)
I saw in your Hekate altar picture that you have some rosaries/prayer beads? How do you introduce them in your practice (only if you're comfortable answering, I know thinks like this are very personal)
The beads I have on my Hekate altar were given to me by my catholic step-father, and he got them in Greece!
As for how I introduce them into my practice, I have made me own prayers that are similar to the structure of you pray the rosary. Instead of the Our Father, or Hail Marys, I made small things to replace them so that way I could still do meditative prayers.
Rudyard Kipling: “To The Unknown Goddess”
Will you conquer my heart with your beauty; My soul going out from afar? Shall I fall to your hand as a victim of crafty and cautious shikar?
Have I met you and passed you already, unknowing, unthinking and blind?
Shall I meet you next session at Simla, O sweetest and best of your kind?
Does the P. and O. bear you to me-ward, or, clad in short frocks in the West, Are you growing the charms that shall capture and torture the heart in my breast?
Will you stay in the Plains till September— my passion as warm as the day?
Will you bring me to book on the Mountains, or where the thermantidotes play?
When the light of your eyes shall make pallid the mean lesser lights I pursue,
And the charm of your presence shall lure me from love of the gay "thirteen-two;"
When the peg and the pig-skin shall please not;
when I buy me Calcutta-built clothes;
When I quit the Delight of Wild Asses;
Forswearing the swearing of oaths;
As a deer to the hand of the hunter when I turn mid the gibes of my friends;
When the days of my freedom are numbered, and the life of the bachelor ends.
Ah Goddess! child, spinster, or widow— as of old on Mars Hill when they raised
To the God that they knew not an altar — so
I, a young Pagan, have praised
The Goddess I know not nor worship; yet, if half that men tell me be true,
You will come in the future, and therefore these verses are written to you.
I actually really like this poem. I discovered it today at a thrift store when I found a little red book labeled “Vampire and other verses”. I decided to flip through it and found this gem. I love the lines:
“Ah Goddess! child, spinster, or widow— as of old on Mars Hill when they raised
To the God that they knew not an altar — so
I, a young Pagan, have praised
The Goddess I know not nor worship; yet, if half that men tell me be true,
You will come in the future, and therefore these verses are written to you.”
Idk, it’s fun though! Lots of things I had to Google to fully understand the poem, but it’s sick asf
My current Hekate altar
I need to redo her candle stuff tho
Sometimes I forget that Greeks and Egyptians would synchronize their gods… and because im Hellenic-kemtic, I can do that too? Like, I HIGHKEY might start synchronizing Hekate and Nebthet
Collage as an offering for Lord Djehuty (Thoth)
Ibis-headed god, divine scribe, lord of the moon: Djehuty. I pray that as I go into this upcoming exam and finals season, that you aid me in retaining information so that it may pass by smoothly, and that I may pass all exams I will take.
Had to make one for MY GOAT Lady Nebthet (Nephthys)
Guys, so I’m making statues of the gods I worship and I’m coming up with concepts. One for Hekate and one for Aphrodite! Which of these designs do you like the best?
They’re going on a mini altar with other hand made statues based on real Egyptian statues, so I want them to somewhat fit that theme :3
I love the gods. I’m writing a research paper on Hekate and Nephthys and several times now I’ve seen Vultures (a symbol of Nephthys) and crows (Hekate) side-by-side or touching one another
u heard him ladies
