hi!!! welcome!!

i caved and made a poll bracket. similar to another bracket thats been cancelled (as far as i know) this bracket is for characters of all sorts -with a catch- no one will no who the characters are until theyre eliminated, masked singer style!!

I highly encourage the submissions of obscure characters, as they should thrive in this type of environment!! I just ask no real-life people and if a character is from a piece of media that makes me uncomfortable i have the right to refuse them entry to the tournament.

LITTLE FREAKS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED ALSO!!

i think that about covers it, characters will be voted upon via motifs broad descriptions etc and when someone gets knocked out there will be the big reveal!!!

also i think the rounds will last a day until semifinals/finals whichll be a week!

thank you for offering, i actually had someone message me about that a while ago but i got so nervous i didn't respond lol. i think once i finish all this pre-poll stuff i should be good, but im probably just way too socially anxious online to work with someone (fun fact: this is why ive actually never made a real friend online!! (its okay though i some friends irl :))) but yeah, totally not rude!!

Is there any new media/characters you've gotten interested in because of this tournament?

yes!! obviously cant say what media (ill tell yall upon reveals probably) but some of the stuff these characters are from are sooo cool, and some i wouldnt ever even known they existed without this poll! i really hope when we finally get this thing going yall will have similar experiences, because there is such i variety with these characters and their media and i just love them <3

yeah to be honest if this wasnt a mystery poll it totally wouldve already been out, i was thinking about polling the first half before thw second half was done being organized (having their titles + images) but itd be a lot less stress to just get that all out of the way first. ive been busy, but am still working on it!

Is it generally just character descriptions that are gonna get trimmed to make the character harder to guess, or will propaganda be too for brevity?

i will include most things from both descriptions and propaganda, unless they include some dead giveaway such as a name, species that only exists in one piece of media, etc, in which case they will be redacted :)

also for characters with more than one submission, i will either choose one desc from the submissions (or make my own if i know the character well enough and want to mesh both descriptions) and probably include both propagandas

i think ill put propaganda under the cut for polls so im not worried about them as much lol

update!

ive cut down the competitions running a bit for my own sanity, there will now be about 300 contestants (which means three way votes or some being introduced in round two but idc anymore lol). ive chosen all of them and am now going through, double checking them, making them titles, and maybe some visuals also! im now officially on fall break, meaning more time to manage this! i cant guarantee any specific date, but be prepared to see announcements in the next week 👀

This is a poll where we show our love and appreciation for characters with big foreheads by having them fight each other in polls ✨

Pretty self explanatory, this is a poll blog for fictional dogs!

-The dogs can be from any fictional source: book, show, movie, podcast, etc. It's not limited to animated dogs either. Lassie, the Buddies dogs, or the dog from The Thing are viable submissions, because you're submitting a character. That dog is an actor and playing a character
