I love thinking about potential crossovers between fandoms I'm in and today I can't get the idea of a KHR and JJK crossover out of my head. It would be so much fun
KHR originally started out as a gag/comedy manga (somehow) and all the characters are genuinely insane and I love to picture what kind of shenanigans they could get up to mainly just the characters meeting.
Gokudera and Fushiguro would either get along or HATE eachother and I can't tell which. One one hand they are both characters who deal with deep family struggles. Coming from higher standing families where they had the potential to lead it but chose aganist it in one way or another that led to them leaving. They are booksmart characters with anger issues who tend to lash out. Gokudera's a lot more obvious about it but I will not forget Fushiguro beating up bullies in middle school. I also would just love to see the JJK casts' reaction to Gokudera's main weapon. Dude always has an unknown amount and potentially unlimited supply of dynamite on him. And he can somehow angle and direct it perfectly. Which actually doesn't seem to be that far off from Nanami's technique so it would be cool to see what Gokudera could learn from him.
Yuuji and Yamamoto would get along so well. No doubt at all. They look so similiar. Give Yamamoto some pink in his hair and they could be brothers. Both overly cheerful characters with crazy athletic abilities. Yamamoto's arent as extreme as Yuiji but Yamamoto is literally insane at baseball. Didn't he like toss a baseball across the town ar somepoint(??) And he literally swings a bat to hard it turns into a sword. Crazy mfer. And I feel like Yamamoto would be able to harness cursed energy if dropped into JJK. he's called a natural hitman. And if you add the way he and Tsuna become friends (the roof)
I NEED someone to put Ryohei and Todou in the same room NOW. genuinely both insane people. Ryohei is as dumb as a bag of rocks but the two of them would definitely get along (depending on how Ryohei would answer Todou's question. What would he say about Hana?)
But one of the most interesting aspects of this time of crossover would be the power system itself because Dying Will Flames and Cursed Energy are actually kinda similiar. In both universes everyone has some amount of it, but one a select amount are able to harness it to use in combat. Some are born with higher amounts and have an easier time controling it. Its hidden from the public but there are groups that regularly use it. And well cursed energy is born from negative emotions, Dying Will flames are born from resolve and determination. Literally the flip side of the other. The two power systems interacting has so many intresting opportunities. Both systems usually rely on using some sort of tool as a conduit for their abilities. Like Kugisaki's hammer. Or Nanami's blade. For KHR, all the character use something to channel their powers. And most of the time its necessary for someone to have a ring if they want to use dying will flames. Though some seem to also be able to just do weird shit. Bianchi can turn any food into poison. Ken can turn into an animal by switching out his teeth which isn't explained ever. Mukuro has the 9 paths of hell. Fuuta has his ranking book. Hibari is Hibari and he would reign chaos in both worlds. Box animals are a lot different from shikagami but both serve a similiar purpose.
But the majority of KHR characters are not surviving JJK. They could probably take down most curses just fine if given the tools. You make Hibari's tonfas a cursed object and he's gonna have a party. Yamamoto's sword would work well. But one you get to the higher grade curses... they aren't surviving aganist Sukuna. Or the Shibuya Incident
