hcmza:
the warmth of marisol’s gorgeous, curvaceous body against his made a miniature chuckle slither its way from between the male’s pearly whites and lead him to tighten his grip around her waist. sure they may have been getting a baby all of a sudden but he needed to make the most of teasing his girl before liza arrived. as the taint of sadness in her voice registered in hamza’s brain, he planted a peck on her cheek before leaving a reassuring whisper in her ear, “we’ll be alright, we’ve got this, team effort?” a weak grin forcing itself upon his visage, the uneasiness clearly taking control of his facial expressions. as marisol stood up and began to get more flustered by the minute, hamza rose so he towered above her, secured his palms on her shoulders gently and jocularly began to shake her. “baby, baby, baby… calm down. i know you’re getting all anxious and panicked now but i can assure you we’ll do great. rosa and mark wouldn’t have put us down as their guardians of choice if something was to happen. i know you’re numb right now from the shock of everything that’s happened but i know we can do this. we would have had to do it in the future anyway if you wanted children with me,” hamza reassured, an air of calm in his voice even though his stomach was doing flips at the present moment. “it’s okay to cry if you want to, gorgeous,” he said, a smile etching itself upon his lips as he pulled her for an embrace and let her rest her visage on his shoulder so that her blonde locks draped down his flannel shirt.
with the grip of the male’s strong limbs snaked around her body only brought happiness to marisol. a smile began to play on her petals ( a facial expression that hasn’t been on her features for the last couple of hours ). trying to even crack a smile after the death of on her closest friends just wasn’t going to happen, and she knew that but only hamza was able to bring that feature out of her with no effort. the feeling of his warmth breath trickling against her ear sent chills down her vertebrae an action he knew was a huge turn on her for her. and doing it right now in front of the lawyer was only going to make her want him more. she was into the weird stuff like that, the whole sex in public thing was always on her bucket list but now that they were going to be parents it was going to make sex in general even harder for the couple. a spew of giggles bubbled out of her before her head nodded in agreeance, “team effort.” as her questions continued coming it was only then she began to stop after all the shaking from the male. she could feel her messy ponytail bouncing against her upper back before she gave another nod. “of course i wanted to have children with you. i still do, but you’re right. they picked us for a reason, i’m -- we can do this. and it isn’t like liza doesn’t know us, which makes life a whole lot easier.” as he offered her the time to cry her head shook abruptly in disagreement. in the last couple of hours all marisol had been doing was crying and now she was done, she didn’t want to cry anymore. “no no, i’m okay. i promise.” but as her body felt his against her own she began to embrace him into a hug but it was only then their doorbell began to ring. the lawyer also turning to face the front door he began speaking, “that must be cps with liza. you guys ready?” sighing lowly, “yeah we’re ready.”

the past few days for hamza had been evidently difficult having found out that his childhood best friend had passed in a car accident and still in a daze from the events, he found himself staring into space, simply tapping his digits against the marble kitchen counter of the pair’s apartment that they shared. his arm wrapped around marisol’s waist and his head rested upon her shoulder, he pulled her closer for comfort upon her query regarding the whereabouts of liza. when the lawyer, a stout-looking gentleman, began to utter the words that hamza had secretly feared, his blood began to rush to his head and his adrenaline began to pump faster around his body. hamza was going to be a what — FATHER ? he was only t w e n t y o n e, far too young to be considering raising children. he hadn’t even had a chance to live his life. but, within an instant, his tone changed, a more upbeat feel to it after realising he and marisol were extremely privileged to have been put above any of mark and rosa’s extended families. as hamza gazed back at marisol, her expression of bewilderment dominating her gorgeous visage, he began to rub her back gently - a comforting demeanor about him since his partner looked like she was about to cry. “babe, look, we’ve got this. if we can make our relationship work, we can make anything work… right ?” he responded, his attempts to be a supportive partner clear but tainted with the uneasiness that also rushed through his brain, heart and body at the current moment in time.
at the feeling of hamza’s strong limb snaked around her frame it automatically drew marisol closer to his frame. a manner that she was so accustomed to she rarely noticed how often she tended to do it. the sound of hamza’s voice alongside the lawyer’s was all too much for her to handle right now, of course she was above honored to have mark and rosa pick the couple as the new guardians of liza. but honestly did marisol think she could handle being a parent ? no, things were already tough enough for the couple now and adding a child to the equation was going to double the stress for them. however, marisol loved liza just as much as her own parents did and for them to say that they believed marisol and hamza could raise her as part of their family, as good as they would’ve been with their own child was a blessing. “yeah, i guess.” her voice soft but mostly filled with fear of what her life was about to change into. standing up fully, she pressed her side into hamza’s chest before her digits slowly ran through her long, blonde hair before addressing the older male across from them. “so what we do then ? like are there wishes they wanted us to obtain ? i know rosa wanted her to go to his preschool downtown and to be active, and all that. but we can’t raise her in this small apartment ? the two of us barely fit in here ham, we’re going to have to offer up the office room for her bedroom i guess.” and already their life was getting ready to change, for the best or worse marisol couldn’t decide yet.
« FIRST STARTER FOR @hcmza »
the couple was sitting at their kitchen table, it’d been only less than twenty-four hours when they were awaken in the middle of the night being told their friends were killed in a car crash. marisol, was still trying to cope with the idea of one her closest & longest best friends had been killed. she wasn’t able to call & her voice anymore, or even talk to her. digits pressed against her temple as her orbs glanced over at hamza to her left & then to their friends’ lawyer who was sitting across from them. marisol had never ever been through something like this, nor did she know where to start. after she had arrived at the police station, she then asked if their daughter had been in the car at the time of the crash ( thankfully not ). “so what about liza ? was going to happen to her ?” but the next words that spilled from the older male’s petals took the blonde by absolute shock. well the child protection service is going to bring liza here & then you guys are going to be able to take care of her. mark & rosa named you two her guardians if something was supposed to happen. but by the look on your face, i’m guessing you didn’t know that? “wait - what ? the guardians ? you mean as in we have to raise her ? how’re we supposed to raise her ? i don’t know anything about raising a child. do you know anything about raising a child ?” her vision turned to face hamza, & by the look of confusion spread across her facial features it was evident that she was mixed with emotions.
