Finally got round to that Inside No.9 cake Iâve been saying Iâd make for years.
Can you spot all 55 episodes?
This is an absolute masterpiece!
mcu fans get outta the taskmaster tag. we're talking about Matthew Baynton's testicles.
With all the wellcrafted jokes in John Finnemore's writing, we don't talk enough about Roger Allam's gloriously hilarious delivery of "Hello, is that god?" after they're hailed with nobody supposedly knowing their number.
*puts hands on hollywood exec's shoulders, staring unblinking into their eyes* listen to me. you will never get people who hate musicals to like musicals by making your musical less of a musical. if you hide the fact that your film is a musical in the advertising, you're going to get a lot of low ratings from people who hate musicals and went into your movie not expecting a musical and got one anyway. people who hate musicals will hate them no matter how realistic and diegetic and lowkey you try to make it. they will hate musicals even if you completely excise anything complicated, over the top, silly, or even slightly challenging. they will hate musicals even if you cut half the songs. they will hate musicals even if you cast that a-lister who can't sing worth a damn. stop trying to market to people who hate musicals. they're a lost cause. your audience should be people who love musicals. this half-assed middle ground pisses off both camps. just embrace the fact that your movie is a musical. lean into it. don't try and trick musical haters into coming to your film when you could be marketing to the theater kids. better cringe than a coward.

HOME ALONE 2: LOST IN NEW YORK 1992 | dir. Chris Columbus
You know what, I have to say it, I think 'what an absolute boob' and 'night after night this man comes here, tries his best but never has a clue what anyone's name is, including his own' get overshadowed in the '12 years training that man' monologue
Staged, the sitcom starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, is to return for a third series, this time on BritBox.

Staged, the sitcom starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, is to return for a third series, this time on BritBox.
The six new half-hour episodes will be available on the streaming platform from 24th November as a box set, alongside the first two series and a new behind-the-scenes special.
The streaming platform confirms: âThe award-winning series, starring David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Georgia Tennant and Anna Lundberg will return to our screens with some seasonal good cheer and its usual healthy dose of squabbling.â
Created by Simon Evans and Phin Glynn, Staged launched on BBC One in June 2020, reflecting the country being in coronavirus lockdown. A second series followed in January 2021.
The Staged Special âfeatures not only mistakes and outtakes but it also shows how the show itself was found. From experiments in how to film the show to playing with the idea of who and what the characters would be, itâs a unique look back at a unique show produced at the most unique of times.â
Meanwhile Series 3 of staged sees life back to normal for David and Michael. âThey have moved on from lockdown and returned to their everyday working life, while Simonâs career remains stagnant. His phone does ring, but only to ask if he can get David and Michael back together; and theyâve made it clear they want nothing more to do with him. But Christmas is approaching, and Simon hopes the warmth of the season might soften them to the idea of a radio version of a Christmas classicâŠbut thatâs as far as Simonâs plan has got!â
Wahoo!
JOSEPH QUINN by Ben Parks â GQ Men of the Year
rocky horror picture show asks what would happen if frankensteinâs creature knew itâs purpose from birth. it also asks âwhat if victor frankenstein did drag and a lot of cocaineâ which is a frankly more important question
