nothing ever happens AU

..I ended up giving this AU more thought and it's not quite a "happy end", the way i see it.

if Nounuki was recognized as a protective force, Kouhei wouldn't die. perhaps, in the end, Nounuki would help him seal the holes and end up trapped on the other side again.

I think Yoshiki and Nounuki would still get closer since Yoshiki adores monsters, but since Nounuki never gets an opportunity to connect with him in a human way, Yoshiki thought of him as more like a wild animal.

solving the issue with holes would relieve human Hikaru's burden, but I don't believe that to be the sole reason for him being a jerk, so, in the end, Yoshiki would leave the village without coming out to anyone or finding understanding there.
