strange that there aren't any gen kill/the punisher crossovers considering frank castle is literally a Recon marine stationed in Kandahar so you could easily say that Op Cerebus was founded during Operation Enduring Freedom (pulling men from the 15th MEU)

i say 15th because that would place frank right there with the gen kill boys. in 2001 the 15th meu had Nate as platoon commander, Poke as squad leader (nate's platoon), and Brad and Rudy in the meu's Recon platoon- all stationed in kandahar at the same time. (I remember reading that Brad met Ray here as well though I cant find it anymore.... if you have a source for this please link me!)

if you're the kind of person who leaves comments on fic, keep it up. you're doing the writers an incredible service, you have no idea what kind of impact your words can have.

i recently have been going through a lot. almost more than i can handle, more than i can put into words.

but then today someone left a long comment on a fic i wrote last year, and when i tell you i broke down crying in a public waiting room, im not exaggerating.

i didn't want to overload them with too much in the comment section, but in just one day I had so many meetings for different things where I was basically told to go fuck myself, and another bill came in that I don't think I can pay, and a former employer who owes me a couple final paychecks basically told me I was never going to see the money.

so having someone out of the blue shower me with love...... it was so unexpected and just really left me reeling. in a good way, of course. and they didn't have to, they could've just enjoyed the fic and went on with their day.

but they took the time. right when i needed it most. and it's been one of the only bright spots in a really dark period in my life (aside from the love and support im getting from my tumblr mutuals).

so long story short, thank you. thank you giving me something to hold on to.

and thank you all for the feedback that you leave for us creators. it makes it all worth it, and so so much more.
