11/14/18, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, Kaley Ann Voorhees (alt. Christine)

i’m so happy kaley is taking over for ali - you can hear her acting her heart out even more than usual, and her singing is flawless as ever.  i absolutely adore her christine.  i’m so excited for everyone who’s going to see her now that she’s doing six shows a week.

“Christine: Ali Ewoldt”

The first Asian-American Christine on Broadway, Ali Ewoldt is of Filipino descent – which I am as well – so having someone like her gracing the stage in my favorite musical is of special significance to me. This illustration was presented to Ms. Ewoldt on the 30th Anniversary of the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera.
