It hadn’t taken long for the male to tire of crowds and noise. After an hour or so he had found himself wandering the halls, in search of a quiet room – the chance to steal a moment or two of peace. Henrik had always been something of a loner, of course he enjoyed socializing but not in such a setting where it involved the entire town let alone his family that were still unaware of his existence. Entering the first room he came across when he could be sure he was far enough away from the thumping of the music, however he hadn’t been the only one with that idea as he noticed another in the room, the moonlight streaming through the room illuminated their features and equally surprised expression. “You look about as awkward as I feel.” He mused lightly, a weak attempt to break the ice.
Octavia only showed up to this ball in hopes that she would find her sister, Ariane. The longer the night had went on the more she realised this wasn't going to be the case and started to feel helpless with her thoughts. In an awkward attempt to escape all the loud noises of the party she found herself wondering for a quite place. She had only been in the room for a few moments when the door opened behind her. Her heart started to raise with surprise when the boy finally spoke which eased her some what. "Yeah-" she chuckled softly. "I just don't do parties.. I feel socially awkward anyways with out having to throw on an expensive gown to the mix." Octavia moved closer to take in the others features a bit more since she could barely see him but what the moon light highlighted. "How about you?"
