Progress shots + rambles under the cut :D

The inspiration from the pic + the caption hit me so hard I opened krita almost immediately and finished this in one sitting HAHAHA

But since I did this so quickly, I didn't exactly manage to get too many progress pics LOL...

the reason i wanted to draw it so badly in the first place was because i wanted to draw baby tweels and baby azul so bad!!!! And this was the perfect opportunity!!!! THEY'RE SO CUTE!!!

the hardest part was coloring... my initial plan was to use a gradient map and practice that but... i didn't understand how to use them and finding them in krita is such a pain in the ass anyway. alas, i ended up coloring everything by hand instead

I've never colored a background like this before... With so many light sources.... It was painful....

(these progress shots make it look like i had the colors spot on the first time... but i didn't!!! my color struggles were left unscreenshotted because i was too locked in!!!)
