YHS AU

Just a little post explaining what this au is about !

This au came to me after rewatching all of yhs in its entirety.

In the past i admit that I used to read a lot of yhs x krew fics, so i wanted to kind of make one myself with this au!

So basically; yhs au is just a rewrite of the canon yhs series, and now starring Rainbow + two little freaks (Draco and Lunar, who I will be referring to as spaceduo for the majority of these posts)

I don’t really have anything else to say but sorry in advance yourself for the amount of spaceduo shit that’ll be in this au.

i love how I went ‘yhs au!’ And then never. Expanded on it ever again.

So here’s some Draco and Lunar tidbits(?) I’ve been saving for a while i guess.

I’ve been pretty busy, so art will kind of be delayed. But yk.

anyways. Here is some lore.

Originally attended VHS until their sophomore year when they were kicked out and transferred to YHS as punishment for being complete assholes

They’re sent to YHS for one year, and if they behave themselves there, they can attend VHS again.

Sophomores in the current timeline.

Lowkey just there for shits and giggles

They think they’re sooooooo cool (spoiler alert, they’re not!)

They also try to act nonchalant. Again, they’re not. Fake idgafers!!!!

Kind of perceived as a threat to Yumi, as they are both notorious troublemakers who could mess up any of her murder plans at any time. They are very unpredictable and extremely strong, also they’re just annoying.

Yumi assumes they at least have some morals despite how they act (they act like idiots 99.9% of the time) so she wouldn’t be surprised if they ever snitched on her.

Draco is in Evan’s math class, (bc draco is #smart), despite being about a year or two younger than Evan himself.

The two of them become good friends and eventually Draco introduces him to Lunar.

They both become huge fans of his band and music. The three best friends anyone could have!!!!

They also eventually find out about Evan’s crush on Funneh. They don’t like Funneh because… of course they don’t. They try to steer him away from her for a while, but then one day randomly or smth Draco’s like ‘Dawg. This ain’t right. He really likes her. Let’s try to get them together instead’ and Lunar’s like ‘Okay fuck it we ball’

So NOW they’re Evan’s wingmen (really incompetent wingmen. They have zero viable relationship advice and experience.)

Back at VHS, Rainbow, the student council president, would constantly get them in trouble, and they had a mutual rivarly with her.

They know Rainbow ultimately got them kicked out of VHS and they hate her for that. Maybe this’ll come up in the future. Hmm.

“C’mon, doll, we’re not too late, are we?”

They definitely were, the doors had closed twenty minutes ago. Celeste had suggested they break a window around back, but Elijah was confident he could get them in- and she was inclined to believe him. Her brother had remarkable puppy dog eyes.

The woman standing guard looked unsure, but sure enough, with another glance at Elijah’s slightly pathetic pleading gaze, she looked around to make sure none of her coworkers were around, and unlocked the door for them.

“Just this once, okay?”

Elijah thanked her as he walked past, compliments and gratitude devolving into snorts and jeers of mockery the farther they walked into the large venue. Celeste rolled her eyes at her brothers antics; he always did like to see what he could get away with, and if pulling the wool over someone’s eyes required looking up from beneath his lashes and saying ‘please’, then so be it.

Scram.” She turned her nose up at them, and if Celeste wasn’t so annoyed, she would have cackled at the look on Elijah’s face.

Maybe he’d lost his touch.

am I working on yhs au? or band au? no because I was working on this new au whoops

so here’s royal au, just a stupid spaceduo centric au where Draco is the spoiled crown prince (born stupid) and Lunar’s his loyal knight (the ultimate idgafer). Draco wants Lunar to teach him how to fight and she’s just like “okay. 😐”.

They’re also at war with Funneh’s kingdom but who cares about that amirite 🤑

Yhs Au #1

I lowk forgot abt Mr. Draco so here’s this. No they’re not related in any way, Draco just happens to have the same name and every time someone asks him about it he cries a bit inside

Not sure if I'm going for this design for sure, but!!! Evelyn Wynd concept art!!!

also she looks like a deer in headlights except the deer actually runs away. Not sure what that says about her but yeah

I tried super hard to give her defining features but I kept backtracking and giving her softer ones because she isn't all that directly imposing when neutral. Now she looks like the protagonist of a 2010s fantasy novel ngl (I had Sophie from Keepers of the lost cities in my references so I guess that works!)
