this movie shows how life was in post-saddam iraq. hama, kurdish boy, was traveling with his grandma to all the mass grave sites in kurdistan and iraq to find the remains of his dad who was a peshmerga.

i watched this movie with my mother who lost many family members and friends and the family members of those friends to those mass graves. she could not stop crying when it was done.

this movie shows a part of history that everyone skims over and that is just flat out disrespectful to all iraqis and kurds out there.
