I needed to take a break from this blog for personal reasons.
I assessed what this blog means to me.
I know it just seems like a crazy, sex-fueled, sophomoric blog; however itās much more than that to me.
And what it means to me, is really what matters.
The content posted here on my blog has NO affect on who I am as a person; neither personally nor professionally. It does not change who I am. Everyone has quirks to them, has hobbies, interests, and a private side to them. I just choose to make my private side a little more public than most.
But you know what I have learned throughout the years of hosting this blog? I have learned that we are not that different from each other and we really should have the conversations that just seem too taboo to ever have. When we talk about these things, we can become more aware of who we are, more conscious to what is around us. What makes us so interesting is that we are all so different. I have become so much more accepting and open minded. I have learned much more through my ājourneyā on here than I could ever have.
And just because what I do is considered āinappropriateā by the general masses, does not mean that it is wrong.
āLive and let liveā. As long as I am not hurting anyone and Iām obeying all laws, what I do is not anyone elseās business. We all approach our lives with different perspectives. And thatās great. But we should not judge one another by what a person does or doesnāt doā¦just because it doesnāt line up with what you believe.
I can bet that the majority of you reading this lead a different life than what you portray. We all hide aspects of our lives. And although my personal and professional life clashes greatly with the content of this blog, itās still a big part of my life. I like that I can be conservative in the appropriate situations and still live out the inner princess in me.
I debated on whether or not I should delete this blog. I kept thinking maybe this blog is childish and that I really need to grow up. It took me awhile to assess the purpose of this blog in my life. I didnāt want this blog causing any more issues in my life than it had to. But after taking a break from posting, it became clear as to why I do this. This is my journal. This is my outlet. This is my release. It is mine.
You donāt need to accept what I do here. You donāt need to look at what I do here. This blog is mine to post freely what I want.
So for now, Ava is back. :) xo
