Wilbur's lack of accountability and his trying to spin his "apology" to be all about him and his betterment is so fucking disrespectful.

This isn't about you, it's about Shelby and what you did—the pain you caused. I'm so sorry she had to deal with someone who turned out to be so horribly vile and toxic. I give all my love and support to Shelby, who I hope is doing well, as well as everyone else who has been mistreated by Wilbur.

-went on for longer than the creators knew what to do with (16 years vs 2 years yeah i know)

-could have been better if not for literally every circumstance

-watched almost exclusively by queer teenagers

-most of tumblr hasn't seen it but has an opinion regardless

-eventually got so grimdark that no character ever has a good day. No happiness or rest allowed ever. There will never be peace not even when you are done.

-garbage ending

-related drama still occurs every two weeks
