I accidentally went to the moon and it was the most amazing thing but then I met a lady there and for some reason she wasnt pleased that I was on the moon. I couldn't figure out why but when she looked me in the eyes an uncontrollable fear shot through me and jolted me back into my body. What happened? While on the deathbed, there are numerous actions preformed to alleviate the pain and enable the soul to pass to the other side. One such practice is laying the moribund on ground. By doing so one is brought into contact with the earth, which is regarded as one of the dwellings of the dead. Thus moribund is brought in contact with the ancestors enabled by the patronage of Mother Earth. It is interesting that this custom, preformed at the end of life, is also found at it’s beginning, at birth. Namely the first act after a child is born is its laying on earth or the birth itself would be preformed on the ground. Thus the birth of a human being is equated with procreation of nature. However, simultaneously the chthonic nature of a child is emphasized because it comes from the otherworld. In this way the same ritual practice connects the beginning and the end of human life. These are scans from the Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition Player’s Handbook that WhiteRoseBrian wanted to show me (and all of you) as examples of attractive fantasy heroines drawn in ways that aren’t focusing on sexualizing them above all else. He included the last one to show that a heroine can be scantily clad and still have it make sense in context and not be the main focus of the drawing.

I think these are super cool by the way and makes me interested to learn more about the game and setting!
