This is an RP blog for Gorgonna, a character from AFK Journey who has made brief appearances in Thorns of Devotion season. To say her existence is special is….an understatement….

[[To allow her more screentime and characterization in here, this takes place in a branch which shows her, and the Hunting Goddess, being two different people.]]

[[Admin would also like to specify that they don’t disagree with how the canon story went, and this is merely a different take that they’re trying out with her.]]

From what little screentime she had in the season, headcanons may be unavoidable, and potential mischaracterizations might happen. The Admin apologizes for that beforehand, and they try the best they can so this interpretation does not turn out….too unnatural.

Even though her existence in-canon has already been established, Admin still wishes for asks sent to Gorgonna to be as respectful….as possible, that is. As long as Tumblr T&C’s are followed accordingly, at least.

Admin is an adult, they go by any pronouns.

Lastly, this is simply for fun. Admin may not always say the same for Gorgonna herself, however….

{ She finds herself staring at the woman, for a while. Gala has only heard Gorgonna's name once, from Modra — if one were to not count the seemingly-dozens of times Perseus had yelled her name at her Master back during the floods of Halia.

Elder Toro had mentioned what she looked like. Hair the color of the deep sky; eyes like a jungle cat. Exactly the woman she's looking at.

...Though Gala knows better now. This woman is not named Gorgonna. She doesn't have cat-like eyes. But she goes by someone else entirely, only hiding it from view of everyone... }

You... deceived many people. Deceived Perseus, deceived the Wildborn. And then you turn out to be the Hunting Goddess. You abandoned us during the Blood Moon. Chose your selfish desires over your own followers.

Despite the confused reaction to all the things Gala was saying, Gorgonna remains calm.

She has only briefly heard of her while she has to remain hidden from prying eyes, keeping watch in the Hunting Goddess’s stead around the territory. Even with that, she isn’t able to wander very far, so what she knows about Gala is limited.

….One moment, Gala. I believe there has been a misunderstanding. I’m not Lady Azora.

The Vex's Bloodstone tucked into his belt is firmly kept out of keen sight. It shouldn't have a smell, right..? ...Even if it does, it can be excused as lingering old wounds or newly recent ones from scraps with monsters. Not like it'd be a lie anyway.

...Unless that talisman somehow gets triggered and blows the cover. Which hopefully it doesn't. ...Why does it feel so awful, lying through teeth and selling it as convincing to get valuable intel out of a potential threat? This is not the real Gorganna. It can't be. ....For just the briefest second the thought that this might be her from another time flickers..

It'd be really awkward explaining if that's the case.
