“I’m sure she’ll like them. She typically does…” Beauty’s smile faded as she put the charm into the bag with her mail. 

“But you were very helpful. Here,” she said as she pulled out a small card. It had a watery background with bright white text. “I got this a while ago, but I don’t need two. It’s an invitation for a water Pokemon contest off in Undella Bay. It might be fun,” she said as she handed it to the girl.

[She blinks at the little card, noting the detailing on the design before actually reading the details. Undella Bay, huh? So it's right around here! And she could even take part if she wanted to - she owns three water-types.]

You're sure you don't want to keep this or anything? I mean, it's your invite! [If it's personalized, she's not getting in anyway, so there's another thought.]

[Not that she's not grateful or anything. This is a really cool reward, and she wasn't even expecting one. What she did was hardly reward-worthy, when you think about it.

All the more reason to be excited!]

Ah man. I'm sorry I've been scarce, guys-- my cat fried my keyboard like a chicken leg, so I'm stuck working with this dinosaur laptop that only registers the keys like half the time right now. Posting on it is immensely hard, and there's been a lot of Stuff (caps required!) going on that's really not helped this much. =n=;

So, long story short. I have a couple posts drafted on my two, but like this little post thingy if I owe you on either Whitlea or Wallace. Or if you'd like me to owe you, idk.

To my Biggest Fan

Kanto Region, a quiet  quaint place. N came here to get as far away from Plasma and Unova as possible. He had to figure out what he wished for in life. He could hear them after all, now when he walked, he took into account those Pokemon that cried out with happiness, those who had made friends of their trainers.

It confused him, it made him realize how much he’d been lied to. Maybe there really was no set structure in the world, maybe there was no black or white… But if that was the case… How did you go about re-writing your entire existence?

That’s why he fled, he realized how very little he actually knew and set out to learn. Little did he know, Arceus had new plans for the pure-hearted trainer. 

He started walking only to bump into somebody from behind, “Ah! I’m sorry, are you okay?” he asked his words tumbling out in a hurried way, what if he’d hurt this new person?

“Here, may I help you somehow…?” he questioned, his blue-grey eyes making sure the lady before him was okay.

[Her arms go out to stabilize herself, saving her a bit of a faceplant.

See, she had been watching this Diglet tunnel - or rather, watching the soil puff up as it was disturbed by the Diglet - and had basically just literally stopped walking where she was. It was hardly N's fault; people don't usually just stop and turn themselves into road hazards like that. Most don't, anyway.

She does.

Rubbing at where he bumped her back, she looks over her shoulder and blinks at whoever this person is.]

Oh-- yeah, I'm fine! It's no problem.

[With a little 'hup!' she pushes herself back onto her feet, dusting her dirtied knees off without much fuss. She's not smiling, but there's also no reason to, so.]

See? Didn't even bother me. I've had way worse than this happen, so yeah! Don't worry about it.

No harm done.

Iris let out a giggle while shaking her head and rocked on her feet back and forth. “Nope! I don’t mind at all Whitlea!” The younger girl was more then happy to help the female out. And she didn’t get many trainers or anyone to visit as of late - well except Marshal, but he always did a stop by when he could.

The purple-haired female enjoyed helping those that came in who needed help training dragon-type Pokemon. As well answer questions that people had. Drayden was on who did battles, but to each their own. And she loved Drayden either way.

Letting out a laugh she shook her hands in front of her. “Oh, no don’t worry about repaying me back. I really don’t mind!” She smiled brightly.

Tapping her chin as she stared at the two she couldn’t help but gush at the two of them at first. “They’re simply cute, adorable and just magnificent Pokemon.” She was holding her cheeks as she went on, then realizing she stopped and coughed in her hand lightly.

She stepped closer to the two humming while tilting her head at the two. “Gabite seems to be the curious type, but as long as it doesn’t effect battles he should be fine. It’d be interesting to see how he battles.” Her attention then turned to the Shelgon. “I can tell Shelgon is shy, but he can become strong. Both of them can.” She beamed happily as she rested her arms on her hips.

[A good verdict! She can work with this. The brunette smiles proudly, even though she personally has had very little to do with their growth. Shelgon seems to have had a really good trainer, what with its moveset, and Gabite... Well. She's not actually sure there.

Still!]

Future prospects sound good then! I can definitely work with curious Pokemon-- raised a few of those already. [Particularly Serperior-- he had the same taste for curiosity she did when he was little.

Now? Not so little! And he turned out fine.

Whitlea squats down here to be more on-level with at least Shelgon, rubbing the well-wrapped lizard's shell affectionately.]

This is gonna be great. I mean, if you guys are really good, you might even evolve!

[She's definitely getting ahead of herself. The chances of that are pretty slim, far as she knows. But Iris is a dragon master for a reason! Who knows - maybe there're rare candies involved.

Clearing her throat, she looks back to the younger girl, curious and raring to go.]

So! What's step number one, then? Name it, and we'll carry it out!

Subway Disaster

Anville was not a destination he was looking forward to repeat. Actually, just thinking about it made him weary, and he could on and on about how the name Anville gained a bad connotation on his mind.

And so, he made his way across the hub for the train that was about to set out. But, what’s so bad about Anville, you might ask. Nothing there, right? Mostly. There is but one very annoying and problematic thing: the roundhouse. That cursed roundhouse! The annoying roundhouse that should work properly but, surprise surprise, big surprise, doesn’t and nobody ever knows the hell’s wrong with it! The problematic roundhouse that only brought problems to him, while the other white dressed empty-head had all the fun.

Positive thinking, Nobori, positive thinking! It’s nothing, probably. Just a casual check-up.

Positive thoughts sure are helpful, helps you block the world out. The subway master made a point to think more positively in his head. There could someone making a huge ruckus right in front of him, he wouldn’t notice. Probably. But what else is new.

[Okay, so people are staring, and he-- pretty much is ignoring her.

...She can't tell if this is okay or not. You'd think it would be - no sweeping is incoming, going by that logic! - but the fact that it seems like he's flat out refusing to react just seems-- what's the word. Ignorant? Yeah, something like 'ignorant.']

...Pff.

[Hands on her hips, she's walking up there to see if he's maybe blind or deaf, regardless of the sanity of that choice. Maybe he's an animatronic. That'd explain a lot. No one else in the world wears the same thing in different colors, as far as she knows.

While she's analyzing, she unwittingly has a perfect mimic of his expression going on, as wary of this situation as he is about the trip to Anville.]

“You keep your marts inside your Pokemon center? How depressing to have to be surrounded by harmed & fainted Pokemon to get a Pokeball or a potion,” Beauty said as she looked over the selection of mails. She pulled one with a blue background & a white bride print. 

“I’ll take this one,” she said as she handed the cashier the mail. She pulled some money out of the small hip bag she kept hidden under her sarong. The cashier handed her the item in a plastic bag.

“Thank you so much for all your help,” she said to the girl as she put her sunglasses on.

[Wow that's a pretty morbid way to look at things. 'Depressing'? ...Well maybe. It's not exactly hard logic to follow. But a lot of good things can come from it too!

It's probably best that she don't start a fuss over this.]

Mhm!

[Folding her arms across her chest, she straightens her posture and glances over the older woman. Looks like she's about ready to get going.]

Glad you're all set up! I hope your friend likes her gifts.

[She likes being a help, she really does. It's kind of her thing, if she does say so herself. The problem is that usually the chance backfires, so this is a nice change!]

A Deino wearing a silk scarf round his neck has trotted up to you and started rubbing his head all over your leg. He seems pretty intent on following you.

[She wobbles slightly as the little dinosaur bumps her leg, blinking at the dragon-type. You're gonna knock her over oh my gosh.

...Oh--

He's got a held item. That means he belongs to somebody, right? Or maybe he's abandoned? Either way, she doesn't know what to do with him...]

Poor little guy... You must be lost... Aww man, I don't even know where you could've come from. [Cool as it would be to have a Deino that matches her other dragons, this guy really gives her the vibe that he's owned by somebody!]

--Let's ask around, okay? It sounds like a plan to me anyway!

[Eventually she's going to realize he won't leave her alone. Then there're going to be some complications involved in this.]

Okay, so! Everyone working on their themes lately has motivated me to rearrange Whitlea's. I'll be working on that for most of today, I think, and then I will try to do some posts if I get time later!

Subway Disaster

[So, the last time she was here, she got her butt trashed by that one in the white coat. Whatever his name was-- she's not even sure she was introduced? Not like she was worried about that. It was a totally different problem she had been afraid of.

The only reason she's even entering the hub now was because the train to Anville Town was about to set out. Nothing there, right? Mostly. It's the last day of the weekend, which means it's the last day to get some trading done!

She's a bargain hunter, what can she say.

The girl has every indication of avoiding the other lines, taking the shortest way over to the brown line, no problem. She doesn't want to risk running into that guy ag--]

[Abort, abort!! The guy in the coat, right there! Last time he was in white, but that's the exact same style he was wearing last time!]

Don't even! Nope, not doing a rematch! It's not happening!

[She's pretty sure there are still bruises on her Pokemon from that last battle! She learned her lesson, good god, just go away!

If people start to stare-- well. She's not really preparing to explain that one away. Good luck, man.]

[He raises his hands in defense, because he half-expects Whitlea to deck him. Instead, REVENGE OH NO!]

H-Hey!

[Could this be? Defeat for Black?! Hardly! He reaches forward, reaching for her wrists. And then suddenly there’s an urge that he doesn’t quite fight, because he leans forward and presses his lips to hers for a split second—]

[Then he pulls back, dropping her wrists and wiping off his mouth.]

…You win, all right, I won’t tease you anymore.

[It might've been a split second, but it froze her up for a liiiittle bit longer. What the heck. What the heck. Where did that even come from? What was he thinking?]

[He might've stepped away already, but it's not gonna stop her from giving him a push with one of her freed hands. A hard push.]

[She's... kinda mad, bro. Really mad, even.]

[What even made him think that was a good idea? Apparently, he doesn't know her at all. Boys are-- are really dumb. That wasn't smooth, and it wasn't welcome, and it wasn't-- anything positive at all!]

Two Strong Personalities

When she tugged her wrists he let go of her and then put his hand on her shoulder, “Yes, we are happy, Whitlea.” He set his eyes down on her, but seeing how she wasn’t meeting eye to eye with him he exhaled quietly and nodded to her. “If you knew what happened then it would be easier to understand, I can’t blame you for being upset from it.”

He paused and took in a small breath, adding in, “Just try to remember that we took things maturely, admitted our mistake and, I’m sure you’re thinking this is a waste, but we’re happy from it. It’s had us grow up a bit quicker too.” Talking about this to her made him seem.. odd, more odd than explaining something to Black that seemed obvious.

[Well. He's not wrong. She doesn't think highly of this, and she still has every intention of backing out of things as soon as she gets a minute. Unfortunately for that plan, Cheren's feeling physical, so the initial plan of just-leave-and-keep-moving is taking a hit.

Or it's at least got some sort of gum in the works.]

[It's-- the only thing she's got to say. The only thing that has its words in the right order, anyway.]

You always had this thing where you acted like you had to be an adult. When we were kids, and when we started this journey thing, and--! Just always, Cheren. It's already hard enough to see you ever smile or laugh or something.

Just-- What's it gonna be like now?

[He and Bianca aren't exactly different now, but that's kind of the problem. She can just see it in her head: Cheren's going to be that too-strict, my-family's-finances-come-first, never-comes-home parent. The fact she can see that so clearly bugs the hell out of her, because even imagining him as a parent at all is a stretch.

Maybe she should've just said that she didn't need help with her bag. Talking to Cheren's been nothing but bad news this time around.]

Diamond Dusted Mysteries!

Lyra giggled, she was so happy she finally had someone to talk to with about these things. She always had an interest in them growing up because of her papa, but since she left her home in Johto. She has yet to run into anyone she could talk to about old pokemon myths and lore. It was all just so cool, she couldn’t NOT like them. She listened a bit as Whitlea went on about her space talk, that’s what she thought she heard anyway, with the snow blowing so fiercely it was a bit hard to hear her. The pair walked more along with snowy path, trying not to fall over from their over-sized jackets. They arrived at ledge that curved around the side of the mountain. 

“Don’t be silly, silly! I know I’m not some fancy pants pokemon researcher and stuff, but, all great ideas start from ‘silly’ blurbs heehe. So you could of just like, given the best hypothesis about these pokemon Whitlea, ya big brain…Ohh gee, looks like we got a bit of a ledge to get around first…hmmm I think when we get round there, we should get to the entrance to these caves. They look a bit slippery.. so be careful ok.. I’ll umm, g-go first.”

Lyra whined lightly as she began to walk across the wimpy looking ledge, trying to keep a straight face and not cry out of fear. She inched her way around, a bead of sweat dripping down her face.

“C-come on! The ledge is great…ughh..”

[Whitlea pokes her head over the side, checking on Lyra's balance and progression even after the girl gives the okay. The older brunet's so used to navigating weird things like crazy ledges that she isn't half as bothered by this as Lyra seems to be.

It's the cold weather that's got her upset.]

[That said, she scoots her back against the wall, readjusting her feet and shuffling after the other girl.

Like this is casual conversation, Whitlea. Don't mess her up, what are you doing.

Since she's much more confident in her footing, she catches up well enough and tries to readjust to the other girl's pace.]

“They have a Pokemart here?” Beauty pulled at her cheek as she thought. “I don’t remember seeing anything but villas, a Pokemon Center, small shops, & very attractive, shirtless men. I’m not quite sure she’d like a toy-themed print. But I’m told she loves water Pokemon. I figured a Luvdisc was a perfect comprise.” Beauty gave a light laugh that lingered awkwardly in the air. She smiled at the girl. 

“Would you mind pointing out the way to the Pokemart?”

[Whitlea gives the lady a long sort of look. It's kind of common knowledge that the PokeMarts work out of the Pokemon Centers here. Or rather, that the Centers have stores in them. It's different in other places, maybe? That seems pretty inconvenient.]

Um--! Yeah, maybe you missed it.

[She fusses with her cap, readjusting it while she looks for a subtle way to ease away from that comment about the surfers and beach-goers. She doesn't-- particularly have anything to contribute to that conversation, so yep, time to focus on the directions!]

It's over this way-- at the Pokemon Center! Go ahead and check out and stuff-- I'll meet you outside.

[So saying, she hops her way back out there - the main reason she even came in was because she thought she saw her friend - and leans up against the building until the woman meets her, as promised. Whitlea grins and indicates the Center, parading the way to the doors and nodding at that particular desk.]

Doesn't look like much, right? But they have a spot like that in every Pokemon Center for potions and traveling items and stuff-- a mart! For mail, you want the guy closer to the door.

That's usually how they set it up, anyway.

“Yes yes, I’m fine…” N repeated quickly.

While it sure was flattering being refereed to as a hero he didn’t deserve such a title. Not when trainers exist that know both the hearts of Pokemon and humans. As he saw it, he barely understood his own heart let alone the hearts of others. Flattery was just something that hardly registered as being a correct statement. He huffed as he allowed himself to sink down into the cool waters he waded in. The water washed over his heated face, calming his blush if only a bit.

“Hero is such a grand title,” He said as he reemerged, “very few are deserving of such a title, don’t you think?”

As he glanced down into the clear waters, seeing the Frillish wrapped around Whitlea’s arm, he knew he wasn’t a hero. How could he be a hero when two years ago he would have been on the side of severing the bond these two wonderful creatures were about to form. It seemed a crime now…

Hero’s weren’t criminals.

He reached out, rubbing the jel-filled head of a blue Frillish that bobbed around his waist. Whitlea and Frillish would be close friends, that much he could already tell, but Whitlea and himself becoming friends… He wondered briefly if that was a possibility as well.

“Tell me, do you know who I am?”

[Her brows furrow together as his reactions get... odder. If this is 'fine,' she doesn't want to see a breakdown from him.

N can say what he wants about it, but she's pretty sure it's her fault for this. So when he starts talking and-- ends it with an unexpected question, she tenses, but only so much.]

... Not really. Except what you've told me.

But I guess that's not what you mean.

[Even she can figure that one out. It's a weird mood here, and a really unusual place to be dealing with this. Not that it changes anything.

Still, she's running through this in her head, and it's not... looking positive. Who exactly is she talking to? It wasn't a problem until he freaked out! It was just a really awesome day.

It's gonna stink if she ruined what could've been a good friendship, because this guy's really kinda cool. In one of those mystic hippie sort of ways.]

If you put it like that, though? I never gave any indication I knew you, either. Like you make it sound like you're some scary horror story character. But you just showed up at the pier with your Lapras, and that's not exactly scary.

[A difficult sound, something between a frustrated noise and a sigh.]

Look, you don't-- need to say anything. If you want to bring it up... well. I can't tell you not to? But this is crazy.

[It got so awkward and intense all after this conversation basically rolled right downhill. And he looked really uncomfortable about it. There are way more reasons stacked up to avoid changing it than to keep going on.

Though he is her way back to shore, unless she feels like swimming all the way there.]
