Crushed Expectations || Iris & Skyla
“Oh, sorry Iris!” Skyla quickly pulled her friend from the squishy cage called her boobs and blushed, laughing as she gave Iris some space. “Forgot these babies were pretty big and… suffocating!” Skyla was probably the only person in the world who could bring up the size of her chest and not feel uncomfortable about it—whatosever.
She happily lapped at the ice cream, enjoying the company. Eating alone was such a bore! When devouring something as sweet as ice cream it was always better to eat with a friend.
“Yeah, Nimbasa! It’s the most happenin’ place to be.” Skyla piped up. Though she wasn’t oblivious to the little teasing Iris was trying to pull off. Skyla stuck out her tongue and poked Iris on the forehead. “There’s no need for such a look! Sure, Elesa’s there and I love getting her distracted from her job, but let’s get real here. The real thing that keeps me coming back is the amusement park!” she winked, obviously only partially joking. The Ferris wheel was really fun to ride multiple times in a row, okay?
Skyla laughed. Typical Iris. Always a kid at heart no matter what. “Right, right. Totally bogus for them to even think that you’d know everything that’s going on at their meetings, right? Though I know whatcha mean! I can barely sit still for five seconds during one of my grandpa’s lessons before I start daydreaming about food or flying… or eating while flying…” Skyla got this dreamy look in her eyes and spaced out for a few seconds, coming back to reality when she realized she must have had a really stupid look on her face.
“Oops! Spaced out again. That happens like… a lot.”
Iris, being young still could only blush at how open Skyla was with the size of her chest. But, she didn't expect anything less from the flying girl. "Y-yeah they are." She then slowly poked her two index fingers together. "How do you handle having such... big breasts Skyla?" Well, the young Champion sure was shy with bringing up this question to Skyla, but it did make her wonder.
Iris slowly began licking her ice cream again as the blush still faintly on her small cheeks, but it was nice having company while eating ice cream. Made the experience ten times better!
Pipping up to Skyla speaking Iris then let out a giggle. "Nimbasa is the huge place to go. You're right." She then smiled happily remembering to give the famous model and Gym Leader a stop by. She then had a day dream look on her face. "Amusement park~." She trailed off in remembering the place. It was super fun and of course Iris enjoyed it. And Skyla could agree, obviously.
Iris could only laugh at the big chested female as she started to ramble on. "The League people are really mean. It's a good thing Uncy Marshal and Shauntal are there to help me understand in simpler terms of what they're trying to tell me."
Her face then held frustration with the people at League. "I wish we could vote for new League committee people. I would vote Shauntal to be on there!" She beamed happily with a laugh. "She gets right to the point, but makes it easy to understand." Iris then shook her head from side to side at Skyla. "No no! It's okay! I get the same way too!" The younger female then swayed side to side happily. "Especially when I visit Uncly Drayden. He scolds me if I start climbing to high places, especially the dragon statues."
Wake up, sleepyhead! Time for an Adventure! ║ Iris & Kyouhei ║
[Kyouhei finally woke up from his sleepy state and stopped looking for the visor, he still hadn’t realized he was still wearing it though. It really was nonexistent to him since he wore it so much.]
[He did hear a voice though… Or was he just imagining it. The voice did sound like Iris’, matter of fact… but why was she out here?]
[After a few minutes of pondering he felt an apple bump up against his leg, then a hungry Hydregion running up after it to snatch it up and swallowing it whole. Kyouhei jumped, almost having a heart attack by the sudden appearance of the dragon. Dragon’s don’t show up around this area! Or so he thought!!
He scooted away, hiding behind his Arcanine. The big dog just rolled his eyes, but stayed his ground just in case the dragon did try to attack. The over sized pup knew she wouldn’t, but that didn’t convince Kyouhei enough as he thought about if he were the apple being the one to be swallowed whole.]
Uuh…!!
[He never knew what to do with dragon types. He had one of his own, but he was lucky the big guy was just as scared as him when he found him.]
N-Nice dragon… Do you have a trainer?
[He asked Hydregion. He guessed because of the voice, but he wanted to make sure. Oh just please don’t eat me!]
Any…Anyone looking for this Hydregion!? [He yelled out, his voice echoing through the cave so hopefully someone can hear.]
The three-headed dragon blinked all six eyes at the male, before happily making a noise. It planted it's huge ass body pretty much AT the entrance of the cave. She was acting like a dog of sorts wagging her huge tail. Hydregion was happy to meet someone else besides her trainer.
Iris let out a groan as she smacked her face. "Ughhhhhhh, HYDREGION!!" She shouted, and after awhile of no response she let out another groan.
As she began to walk off towards the way her three-headed Pokemon went too she was lost in thought but was snapped back to reality after seeing a bunch of apples. Kneeling down she picked one up before letting a dead pan face on. "Hydregion..." No surprise, apples were her favorite.
Tapping her foot on the ground she continued holding the apple as her arms were crossed over her chest as she was thinking. Where could she have gone off too....
Ears pricking up to a voice she cupped her hands over her eyes as she listened closer. "Oh!" Hearing something dealing with a Hydregion she rushed off, not before picking up a few more apples and putting them in her bag. "I'M COMMING~!!!!!!!!!" She shouted in glee.
After a bit of running she came to a cave with a... tail hanging out of it? And it was wagging. With a dead pan face on she stood outside before going up to the dragon and lightly kicking her butt. "Hydregion..."
The dragon perked up feeling something kick her behind. Having one of her heads turn around she brightened up backing out of the cave entrance smiling at her trainer. "No, don't give me that happily look. You know better not to wander off." The three-headed dragon just continued to smile at her as Iris let out a sigh. Her attention then went back to the cave and gave a bow. "I'm sorry about her, I hope she didn't cause any damage to you!"
Wake up, sleepyhead! Time for an Adventure! ║ Open #1 ║
Mn…. [The trainer rubbed his eyes and stretched after a long nap, honestly a whole nights sleep, but he hasn’t checked the time yet to see he’s actually slept the whole night outside.]
[He was laying out under a tree, laying against his still sleeping Arcanine despite all of Kyouhei’s moving around. He felt really cramped, but it was probably just the way he slept. Arcanine is a good pillow, but the ground was never the best bed.
With half closed eyes, he reaches around to find his visor. He switched to both hands when he didn’t have any luck the first minute of patting around, then he moved to his hands and knees as he continued to look.]
Wh-where is it…? [He yawned as he spoke to himself.]
[He hoped a wild Pokemon didn’t snatch it.That’ll take hours of searching in the grass, even worse if a flying type got a hold of it.
He shakes his Arcanine awake to help him and even looks around to see if someone was near to ask as well.]
Has anyone seen a red visor anywhere?
[Little did he know he was still wearing it. He usually takes it off before he sleeps, but he forgot this time. He’s half asleep, so cut the boy some slack, but laugh if you may.]
"Hehehe." Iris laughed to herself in triumph as she began walking on the road in her old attire. And MAN did it feel GOOD! She missed these clothes so much, not to mention she needed a "break" from The League Though... she ALWAYS takes these breaks. Either way, she thought another one would be in order.
Iris decided to let her Hydreigon out to stretch her wings, and it was a pleasant day out. Now, since she's done so, she couldn't find the giant dragon. "Where did she go?" Iris scratched her head in a perplexed state. Who could miss a three-headed giant dragon-type Pokemon, apparently her.
"Hydregion!" The purple-haired female cupped her hands together and shouted for her lost Dragon-type Pokemon. She wasn't worried, but for sure this was the last time she'd let her out.
Hydregion had gone off searching the place in a curious state. It was a rare occasion that her trainer let her out, and this would probably be the last... she had the knack of just wandering off randomly. And finding a tree with apples she let out a cheerful roar of some kind.
As she nudged the tree one apple fell and instead of staying in that spot in fell in, it decided to roll away. The middle head nudged the other two motioning at the run-away apple. Following pursuit of it the dragon waddled after it.
Not realizing where she was going the dragon followed it into a cave. A cave that held a trainer and his Pokemon. Finally bumping into something it halted and Hydregion happily picked it up with its middle head and ate it.
Crushed Expectations || Iris & Skyla
Skyla’s eyes did a gradual widening as they peered at the cone. Oh my—No way! “NO WAY!” Skyla all but screeched. Was that really what she thought it was? “Iris! You are the absolute best!” she glomped Iris again, smothering Iris against her chest as she cooed and screamed and jumped up and down.
Skyla grabbed the cone and started to lick at it eagerly, moaning in pure bliss as the icy sweetness danced along her tongue. “Mmmm! CasteliaCones really are the best in the summer time, ne?” she continued to lap at her ice cream as Iris gave a rather ‘valid’ reason for not being at the Pokemon League. Skyla giggled. “Sounds about right! First thing I do when no one’s around is hop in my plane and fly over to Nimbasa City or somewhere really cool, ya know?” gosh, Iris was such a cutie. Skyla poked at the girl’s puffed cheeks and smiled wryly. “Oh yeah? Last time I checked you never did well with being told what to do, anyways.”
"Hmph!" She could only get out as she was then smothered into Skyla's pretty big bust. The smaller girl flailed her arms about as she was taken off guard by the action done by the flying-type Gym Leader.
After she was free Iris let out a laugh at Skyla's reaction, but nodded her head agreeing. "Mhmm! It sure it!" She took another lick of the deliciousness of the creamy cold, wonderful, absolutely amazing Castelia Cones. It was nice to find another sweet tooth extravaganza like Skyla who could totally appreciate the flavor and taste of Castelia Cones.
Iris let out a small gleam of a smile at Skyla. "Oh hohoho. Nimbasa huh~." She cooed a bit as she took another lick while giving the redheaded airplane pilot a look. It made her laugh a bit to tease the older female. But Nimbasa City was fun, she couldn't blame Skyla for going there. Especially to see a certain model.
Feeling the pilot poke at her cheeks she let out a giggle of joy. "Of course!" She was proud, though it got in trouble at times - if not then by a lot. She thought rules were meant to be broken at times. Especially if they were The Leagues. "It isn't my fault that the people in the committee expect me to understand the big words they say." She then lapped up the ice cream cone as she smiled a bit. What would they expect, she's the youngest Champion ever, so of course she wouldn't be able to understand everything they would say.
Crushed Expectations || Open
During her rather obnoxious weeping, Skyla heard someone call her name. “I-Iris?” she sniffled, turning her head to the purple-haired girl in question. At the sight of a fellow gym leader—though now Iris was Champion—and friend, Skyla wailed and latched onto Iris.
“Oh Iris it’s absolutely terrible! They ran out of Casteliacones and do you know how badly I’ve been working out so I could make room for those bad boys?” Skyla loved sweets on the same plane as flying, it was that terrible. For the past two months before Summer started, Skyla had been getting herself prepared to devour Casteliacones galore—only to take the long three hour trip to Castelia City and end up disappointed.
All that flying—for nothing! Not that she’d ever regret hopping into her plane and flying wherever the wind took her but still.
She pulled herself out of Iris’s shoulder and sighed. “This is such a huge bummer, but I guess I’ll just have to wait until next time…” she rubbed her arm against her eyes and slapped her cheeks, a second later and a huge smile was on her face.
“You know why I’m here, but what about you? Thought Champions were supposed to stare in their little nest up at the Pokemon League,” she teased.
Iris let out a light laugh as the red headed Gym Leader latched onto her. The younger girl had to make sure her footing was well since she wasn't expecting the taller female to latch on like that.
Listening to Sykla's tale of woe, she just petted the top of her head as she slightly smiled, awkwardly. Though she could understand where she was coming from. Like Skyla, Iris had a sweet tooth too. So she could understand how she was really upset. Oh! "Casteliacones? Actually Skyla, your in luck." Removing her hand from the top of Skyla's head did she reach into her little bag and recover ANOTHER CASTELIACONE!
Beaming a smile at the female she held it out for her. "Here, I bought an extra one for me to take back, but you can take it." Iris didn't mind, these glories goodies were so good and once they were out, they were out for awhile. And she could help another sweet tooth friend out in a time of need.
Eyes getting wide from her question did Iris let out a nervous laugh. "Well, I'm supposed to be there." Keyword, supposed to. "But who wants to stay in that building for so long waiting for challengers!" She laughed as she rubbed the back of her head. "There is only so much you can do in there. And the League people are so bossy..." She puffed her cheeks out.
Crushed Expectations || Open
“WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!” Skyla did one more loop in the sky, her hair falling downwards and her smile big enough to take over her entire face. Gosh, she loved flying! The thrill of soaring so high above the clouds, the ability to go anywhere and everywhere whenever you want, the freedom that came with flying.
She wrote the message SKYLA WAS HERE! Because honestly her creativity juices weren’t very high today. Feeling satisfied, she prepared for her descent back to the ground. “Gonna land this baby in and go grab something sweet to eat!” Her stomach was already growling with the possibilities of eating something sweet and delicious! A nice scoop of ice cream sounded absolutely great at this moment.
Skyla landed the plane with ease, a true pro when it came to anything dealing with aviation. Successfully landed a few miles from town, Skyla hopped out of the plane and took a good stretch. “Man it feels good to get in a session of flying! Now let’s go eat~” she all about ran into Castelia City—she was dying to have one of their Casteliacones—crossing up and down streets until she finally reached the vendor that sold the delicious icy treats—
Only to find out that they were all sold out.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
Iris was busy cackling away as she rode Hydregion. Sure she was supposed to stay at The League, but~ it was super boring and Iris didn't really have the attention span to stay around. Besides, they never got any challengers that reached her. So what was a girl supposed to do!
She was back in her old attire as she was happily humming on the three headed dragon's back. "Hydregion this sure is better then staying at that boring place with those really boring League people huh." She began making conversation with her trusty Pokemon who made a noise of agreement.
She began to think about where to go. "Hmmm, where do you wanna go?" All three heads started to bicker at one another before one of them head butted the wrong head and that just turned into a chaos of fiasco. "H-hey! HYDREGION!!!!" Before long because they were in a argument they weren't paying attention to flying and ended up landing outside Castelia City.
Coughing Iris waved away the dust and then looked at the dragon-type Pokemon with an angry face. The dragon then ducked it's heads away from her view knowing that they were the cause that ended up crashing.
Letting out a sigh she then scratched her head. "Its fine, we ended up getting somewhere." Taking out her Pokeball she returned Hydregion to its place and then skipped into the City.
Beaming she went straight to the Casteliacones and bounced up to the front and bought one - if not then possibly two... either way the purple haired female was happy. As she moved away from the place, it wasn't long till she heard a yell of despire.
Walking back to the place she saw a familiar red head. "Oh! Skyla!" As she reached she became grim. "What's wrong?"
Let's Get Down To Training || Iris and Marshal
Xena stood proudly and let out bark, signifying a yes to Iris’s question. Marshal nodded at Iris’s question, “Yes, in fact she’s the newest and youngest member to the team.“ Xena looked at Iris as the girl knelt down to greet her. She didn’t seem impressive in terms of size or appearance unlike her pokemon who were quite the opposite. She crossed her arms together, looking at Iris expectantly.
Meanwhile Marshal focused back to the training at hand. “Okay, Conkeldurr and Gallade, both of you show those two are you focus and charge your attacks. Then after that we’ll see how they try using the attacks and work from there.“
Conkeldurr and Gallade both nodded before motioning for Archeops and Hydregion to both follow each respective teacher to an area a bit away from the other. Marshal watched as both teachers began to due their attacks, a bit more slowly and concentrated.
Conkeldurr took in a deep breathe before exhaling, focusing his power in using Stone Edge. Sharp Pointed stones began to encircle around his bulky body. The sight was comparable to having two asteroid rings around a planet. Conkeldurr looked over to Archeops as the stones began to slowly increase their speed while gravitating around him.
Gallade, meanwhile, began focusing energy, his body glowing blue as a result. He held his hands together, then slowly moved them apart as a sphere of bluish-green energy formed in the space between them. As the sphere grew bigger, the glow of the sphere and the energy glowing off Gallade’s body, became brighter.
Both mentor pokemon both held and charged their attacks until they no longer hold back their attacks any longer. Both locking eyes with each other before sending their attacks towards each other. The attacks collided with intense power, creating an explosive result. The sheer force of the attacks caused not only smoke to kick up once again, but a shockwave as well that could be felt all the way from Marshal and Iris’s position. Xena actually having to grab onto Iris as a way to support herself.
“Alright, Iris. Order them to try using their attacks and then we can see where to take this training from there.” Marshal told the young girl, wondering where her pokemon went wrong when using the attacks she wanted.
Iris just stared with her wide purple hues at Marshal's newest team member. "You're cute." She wanted to pet the small baby so badly, but she wasn't sure if Xena would let her. "Though I'm a fan of dragon-types I'm sure a fan of you." She beamed cheerfully.
On the main line, Archeops and Hydregion both followed their master's towards different sides and away from their trainer's stood with each respective. As both Pokemon focused and watched every movement made by the two other Pokemon they never missed a beat.
"Woah!" The aftershock of the two attacks colliding had Iris stumble on her butt a bit as she took hold of Xena to help her steady herself too. Smiling she nodded her head as she gave her two Pokemon a look which they understood.
After the destruction was over and the okay look from their trainer, both Archeops and Hydregion made eye contact and nodded their heads. Taking their places both Pokemon began to concentrate.
Archeops began to focus as stones began to shake underneath him as they began to chip away and surround him into sharp jagged rocks. They began to circle around him slowly at first but then gain a bit of speed.
Hydregion then had all three of his heads focus as a light blue aura surrounded him. He then opened his three mouths to focus the orb of energy and gain power as the blue aura grew too.
Giving each other eye conact they lashed out their attacks creating a less then a big erruption then their mentors, but still managed to make a collision from their attacks.
"Hm..." Iris cocked her head to the side while having a lop sidded mouth. "Well, it's better progress then they have been making..."
Let's Get Down To Training || Iris and Marshal
Marshal laughed at Iris’s remark about the men. He couldn’t blame her either, as he usually just ignored them and ask Shuntal did they say anything important for the last five hours, during their meetings. He honestly was surprised anyone wouldn’t expect Iris to avoid those guys all the time. If memory served correctly, even his fellow League members and Alder couldn’t deal with them in large doses.
“So, I’ve been trying to train these two on how to use Stone Edge and Focus Blast respectably. And well- And it’s not working out. And I then thought of you Uncy Marshal!”
“Stone Edge and Focus Blast, huh? Well I’ve taught quite a few of my pokmon Stone Edge. Then also my Gallade has know Focus Blast since he was a Ralts. So I’m sure I’ll be able to help you out!” His pokemon all looked at Hydregion and Archeops, then to Marshal and Iris. His Conkeldurr went over to Archeops, demonstrating a Stone Edge attack in front of the ancient bird. The attack was powerful enough to reduce a boulder nearby into rubble.
Xena managed to sneak up in between Marshal and Iris, impressed by the attack. She looked eager to learn the move as well. All while Toxicroak and Craogunk returned to their staring contest, ignoring everyone else.
Marshal called out his Gallade, the knight like pokemon bowing before him and looking towards Iris and her Hydregion. He looked to Marshal confused as to what to do. “We’re going to help Hydregion learn Focus Blast.” Gallade nodded, quickly producing the attack and firing it where the boulder once stood before being hit by Stone Edge. The powerful attack left a small smoking crater where it landed, again impressing Xena.
“So that’s what the attacks look like when used, though channeling the energy for them will take a bit a practice.” Marshal told Iris and her pokemon, Xena sizing them up, puffing out her chest defiantly. To marshal the whole scene looked adorable.
Iris beamed happily that Marshal would help her out, as well her Pokemon were happy too. The ancient bird and three headed dragon looked at Marshal's Pokemon then towards the trainers.
As Marshal's Conkeldurr approached Archeops he then preceded to pay attention as he demonstrated the attack. Which resulted in being surprised on how much power it could have since the boulder was turned into rubble. As Marshal sent out his Gallade Hydregion paid attention as well how Archeops did. Once the demonstration was over the crater was left as the three headed dragon-type was left in air staring at the crater. Both Pokemon knew that they learned the attack that they'd be able to do the same thing.
Iris stared in awe. "Wowww." She was amazed by the power of the attacks and then listened to Marshal explain. Nodding her head understanding she then turned to her two companions and waved her index finger at them in excitement. "That could you two soon! So don't give up yet!"
Her attention then went to Xena as curiosity sparked in her eyes. "Uncy Marshal, who's this? You ended up getting another Pokemon?" She ended up kneeling at the Pokemon's level as she smiled at the little Riolu. "Hi there!"
Let's Get Down To Training || Iris and Marshal
Marshal had been spending the morning training a few of lesser used pokemon in battles. How well it was going remained to be seen, since at the moment, things weren’t looking as impressive as he’d like.
Xena, the newest addition to his team, was trying and failing to copy his Lucario using Aura Sphere. Though the spirited little fighter wouldn’t give up so easily, as she kept trying. Meanwhile the Croagunk that normally under his bed, was having a Staring match with his Toxicroak. Who was winning was unclear, though Marshal did know that his Duskull and Conkeldurr found the whole thing amusing to watch.
“Alright guys, time to get serious and focus on our training!” Marshal’s words were more geared toward everyone who weren’t Xena and Lucario, but those two seemed to try harder while the rest just looked at him.
“Alright, Toxicroak teach that Croagunk how to use Bulk Up.” Marshal ordered as the the two frogs simply kept staring at each other with an intense gaze. As Marshal was about to ask Duskull to break them up, he felt a familiar weight land on his back.
“Uncy Marshal!”
Marshal smiled as he heard Iris call him as she clung to his back. Picking her off, he placed her own and keeled to speak to her. “Hey there Iris, what brings you by today? Hiding from the boring men again?”
Iris let out a laugh as she felt herself being picked up and placed on the ground. Hearing the mention of the men she stuck her tongue out in a gross way. "Yuck, when am I not hiding from them?" As she giggled into her hands.
She then remembered why she was there. Bonking her head with her hand she made a goofy face. "Oh yeah! The reason why I was here." She then took her two pokeballs that held her Acheops and Hydregion and released them into the open. Both of them were fully healed and ready.
"So, I've been trying to train these two on how to use Stone Edge and Focus Blast respectably." She pointed to what moves to which Pokemon to use. "And well...." The purple haired dragon girl then pushed her two index fingers together with a somewhat gloomy look on her facial features. "And it's not working out."
She then rubbed the back of her head laughing a bit. "And I then thought of you Uncy Marshal!" She bounced up and down on her heels all happy sorts. "Would you be able to help out?" Her eyes beamed in hope and then she seemed to remember something. "It hasn't been going well for the past week and a half."
Let's Get Down To Training
Iris stood in her Champion attire as she was staring at her Acheops and Hydregion who were just staring back at her with questioning looks. Placing a hand on her small hip she pointed her index finger at them with a smile. "Today will be the day will you guys will learn your moves!" The small girl had been attempting to have them get their moves for the past week and a half and she wasn't going to give up.
The two Pokemon just stared with looks of uncertainty. They give their trainer credit for not giving up yet and being positive, but it just usually ends up in failure, and they didn't want to be anymore disappointment Pokemon to The Champion of Unova Region.
Seeing the looks on their faces she beamed and went over and hugged both of them. "I still love you guys no matter what!"
As the morning continued on Iris was not giving up. "Okay, Archeops and Hydregion one more time! Stone Edge and Focus Blast!" Both Pokemon attempted their attacks given to them, but just fell on the ground in defeat.
Scratching her head she walked over to them and sat in between the giant beasts while petting them. "Hmmm..." She hummed to herself as she looked up at the sky in thought. "Maybe Uncy Marshal will help!" Standing up she returned her two Pokemon and went off to change into her old attire and stop by the Center.
Making her way towards where Marshal was training she appeared and jumped onto his back happily. "Uncy Marshal!" The purple haired girl beamed joyously.
Ignoring Duties
Random humming could be heard from a random branch in the tree tops. It was happy sounding that didn't have any particular song. Iris was happily sitting on a tree branch letting her feet rest. Her Fraxure was currently walking around the grassland area scoping out the place as he waited for his trainer to return to the ground.
She then stretched her arms above her as she was smiling at the sky. "They won't mind if I take a small break." By Iris's standards of a "small break" was running away and not sure when she would be returning. She could only snicker at The Leagues reactions finding her not there anymore. "Hehehe."
The purple haired female then proceeded to take aim at her unsuspecting victim, Fraxture to attack in a pounce. Once he was in sight and in range she then jumped from branch onto his back. "Attack!" She shouted as her Fraxure then went into panic mode not realizing it was his trainer.
The female then laughed and shot up so he could see her in his peripheral view. "Relax Fraxture! It's just me." Upon seeing his trainer he then let out a sigh and a grumble noise. "I'm sorry." Iris petted his head as she then pointed her index finger in the direction they were headed in. "Forward march Fraxure!"
