This little adorable bundle of fuzz is Baymax!

He was a rescue cat and yes his name comes from the disney movie Big Hero 6. He’s very important to me seeing as he came into my life right after I lost one of my most precious cats very suddenly to a heart attack and he already means a great deal to me for helping me through such a tragic ordeal.

The bad news is, he comes from a bad situation himself. Baymax was a rescue cat from an abusive cat hoarding situation in which ABOUT 150 CATS WERE RESCUED FROM ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE CONDITIONS.  All of them were brought to a local shelter and that’s where I found Baymax (you can read about the house he was rescued from here and actually BAYMAX IS IN THE VIDEO! at around 42 seconds in.)

Long story short Baymax hasn’t had proper food, shelter, affection and a stable living environment in his life and I want to be able to give that to him. A lot of the cats from the hoarding raid came to the shelter with upper respiratory infections, eye infections/possible total vision loss, ect. and the shelter just didn’t have the funds to pay for it all. That’s where the adopted cat parents come in and get them vet care upon adoption.

Me and my boyfriend both have money between his job and my savings funds to get Baymax the care he needs BUT it’ll take us (on our own) time as he lives paycheck to paycheck and currently has to WAIT for his paycheck, and it’s just not time I want Baymax to be suffering through a respiratory and bad eye infection. He’s just a kitten and I want him to be able to live like one as soon as possible.

SO HOW CAN YOU HELP LITTLE BAYMAX?

It’s really unfortunate that so many cats had to suffer through such terrible circumstances, and some didn’t even make it out alive, but if I could just save one I will.

IF by any chance I make more money than Baymax needs for his medical care, I will be donating it all to the shelter he was rescued from to help out with medical costs for the other cats devoid of care!!!

  “It’s… been very long since I last saw you, at—” Cheren quickly cut himself off and cleared his throat. Readjusting his tie, he calmly asked, “Where have you been all this time…?”

Cheren was a sight for sore eyes when he hadn't seen a familiar Unova face in quite some time. It was good to see a person he had come to, well-.... know. Or at least by his own standards. Granted most of his information on Cheren had been carefully collected and reported by the shadow triad as most of the information he gathered about his Unova friends were.

"Cheren," N displayed a brilliant smile, though there was still a bit of hesitation in his voice. He still wasn't sure of how his Unova friendships stood up during his absence, "I've been just fine. Traveling and expanding my world in fact."

His smile grew softer, "I'm glad to return home though. How have you been? I hear you have become a gym leader."

N and Haruhi ||

N didn't have the slightest clue as to where he was. Of course if the area extended outside of the Unova forests he was used to then it was pretty much a done deal that N was going to get lost. Areas with an excess of people or housing were the worst. With the weather taking a dip downward, and a chill hanging in the air, his top priority was finding a place to sleep that was warm for his Pokemon, especially one in particular.

In his arms rested his Torchic; still very young and not used to the low temperatures of the chilly winters. He hadn't expected a simple cave or Pokecenter to be this difficult to find. Though it seemed he was far from Unova...

Where he found himself was much larger than he was used to, with many organized sprawling courtyards. Torchic ruffled his feathers in N's arms, giving a small squeak of doubt when he sensed the worry of his trainer,

"Don't be afraid little one," N assured his Pokemon with a reassuring smile, "We're... not that lost."

N and Darling - The Amazing Introduction!!!!

[[I think it’s interesting how much the two actually have in common, so I am interested to see how this plays out. I don’t have any pictures to support my posts so bear with me?]]

Late in the afternoon, Darling breathed out a heavy sigh. Finding patients was difficult work, particularly in this hot weather. For her and her Pokemon it’d be surely a stifling and miserable day in her tiny apartment high up in the Castelia City skyscrapers. Addie calmly sat on the cool concrete next to her, seeming to space out.

Not particularly in a hurry to find a new client, Darling relaxed on a nearby bench in the shade.

Castellia city was definitely not N's cup of tea. Much unlike the city of Nimbasa where he could catch a break from the smothering city by taking a ride on the Ferris wheel, it was rare that one caught such a break in Castelia. His pokemon however didn't shy away from the urban atmosphere like their trainer did. As a matter of fact Growlithe especially was one of the most energetic when around people. While N and Zoroark trailed behind (N admittedly a few paces behind Zoroark just for safety measures) the young pup was weaving between the legs of unsuspecting businessmen.

N had no desire to stop him, even if some of his unsuspecting victims did everything in their power to shoo the playful Pokemon away. With a running start, Growlithe dived straight under the skirt of a daycare teacher on her way to work and towards a bench just on the edge of the sidewalk.

It only took Growlithe two second to go from skidding on the concrete to a swift bound right into the lap of a girl taking residence on the bench.

"Growlithe!" N's eyes widened as he ran passed Zoroark to attempt to calm his friend, "I'm sorry! He seems to get more rambunctious the healthier he gets." His words came out fast, almost meshing together as he attempted to pull the Growlithe from the bench, but of course the dog-like Pokemon wasn't about to budge so easily.

Hearing an apology wasn’t really quite enough, but he knew it wasn’t any of his problem from his damage from years ago being caused again by some hungry power man, worse that it was coming from his father. Just talking about it seemed to pain N a little bit, but why would he want to hear about it? Cheren just shook his head, “Right now I’d prefer that.” Hinting some concern is his voice.

Oh he does remember Bianca? Well he still has yet to speak to her? I guess he really must have not been traveling around too much since she’s all over Unova at times. He exhaled, “Oh Bianca, she’s doing fine. She works with Professor Juniper as an assistant and she and I ha-” He closed his mouth quickly not adding the last part, adding in a different sentence. “-haven’t seen each other in two years.”

At Cheren's mention of not seeing Bianca in a few years N frowned. But then again he supposed it was inevitable if both parties were off doing their own duties. That didn't make it any less disappointing though. N might have been new to human relationships, but it couldn't have been that hard to see one another once in a while could it?

Finally he let out a loud exhale,

"That's quite unfortunate. From what I've observed you and Bianca seemed very close." On the other hand it was good to hear that Bianca had found a dream to follow. The last he heard of Bianca she wasn't doing so well on her journey.

"Perhaps I'll make an effort to find her and formally meet with her. Besides, I do feel as if I must apologize personally to Professor Juniper."

But that was enough speculating on what he SHOULD do, and so he turned to Cheren with a grin,

"I know you must be busy with gym duties, but you shouldn't let friendships slip through your fingers. I'm envious that you and your human friends grew up together. You're very fortunate. You should pay her a visit when she's settled somewhere."

Re-Harmonize

Ghetsis nodded in understanding. He knew from the start, getting the trust of N would be a challenge, but Zekrom and Zoarark..he may never be able to gain their trust. These two pokemon understand N more then most people, and are very close to him. Zoarark being the protector that N never had as a child..protecting him from Ghetsis, and Zekrom being an embodiment of N’s very beliefs, almost an extension of himself. The two were indeed harmonized at all times. But that didn’t mean Ghetsis would ever stop trying to gain their trust, he wanted to start a new family with N..that included Zekrom, and Zoarark.

“Yes.. I understand N. I can’t say I blame them for not trusting me yet. in time, I do hope they do however. That would be… nice.. having them as part of our family as well…ohh?”

The fluffy red bububu sniffed around Ghetsis. Peckers was a curious little pokemon, only spending time with N, it had yet to actually see another person. It was very curious about Ghetsis. Cooing happily, it nudged Ghetsis’s leg, wanting to be held. Ghetsis smiled as he picked up the bububu.

“Oh..hello there young one..My name is Ghetsis. It’s very nice to meet you indeed…hohoho, you’re quite the feisty one aren’t you?”

Pecker’s nibbled at Ghetsis’s shirt as it let out a small cry. He seemed to like Ghetsis quite a bit. Ghetsis gave the bububu a pat on it’s fluffy head.

“So N… what do you think we should do first? We have quite a lot to do if we want to make things the way they were before… but better.”

Growlithe squirmed in N's arms, eager to get down and jump at the mans feet as he so often did around new faces; but N held tight. He didn't want Growlithe to interrupt... as he was much more curious of his fathers interactions with the young Pokemon.

It was so.... foreign to see his father acting so caring towards something that he found himself almost transfixed on it. With his mouth hung open in an 'O', just a couple feet away from his father, it was Zoroark's gentle hand on his shoulder that brought him out of his trance. He shook his head, eyes refocusing as he registered his father was speaking to him again.

"You want to make it better?" He wasn't much concerned with better as much as he was with having a home again. True, he was used to the grandeur of his castle, but anything would have worked. There were times when he really appreciated the freedom of exploring the outdoors it would have been nice to return to a home during particularly cold winters.

"I-I don't really know," For a moment he glanced around at the mess of fallen rubble that used to be his throne room. Quite idly he stepped over to a large pile of rock, picking up a piece and weighing it in his hand, "I'm not much of a designer, but I suppose cleaning up will be important."

But even as he spoke, his father was cuddling Peckers. With the rock still in hand he moved closer to the pair with a weak smile on his face, "Do you- do you still have your Pokemon?"

If anything, more hands aiding in the cleanup would be helpful... Even though in his younger days he never particularly got along with his fathers Pokemon. He remembered some nasty spats him and Hydreigon used to get into. Of course there was always opportunity to change and make amends.

That was a really different reaction from what she was expected. Definitely ended up on a different scoring chart.]

Um? Hey… You okay over there?

[Not that she’s opposed to visiting her jelly buddy again. Actually, now that N brought it up again - she reaches out to get the blue one’s interest, letting him grab at her arm or bobble around. Whichever he feels like, so he knows she’s still there.

It’d be ridiculous if they lost the little guys after all that trouble to befriend them in the first place, right?

…Did she say something weird? Maybe she overdid it with the ‘hero’ thing. That’s not exactly unheard of.]

I’unnu. I think you kinda qualify for the part. [Angling her head to try and see his expression - he’s definitely not happy anymore, in any case - her mouth slants down in a bit of a frown.]

…Hey. If I hit a nerve, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it or anything. I’ll take it back if you want me to?

[Though why anyone wouldn’t want to be called a hero is beyond her. She’d be pretty happy with it!]

"Yes yes, I'm fine..." N repeated quickly.

While it sure was flattering being refereed to as a hero he didn't deserve such a title. Not when trainers exist that know both the hearts of Pokemon and humans. As he saw it, he barely understood his own heart let alone the hearts of others. Flattery was just something that hardly registered as being a correct statement. He huffed as he allowed himself to sink down into the cool waters he waded in. The water washed over his heated face, calming his blush if only a bit.

"Hero is such a grand title," He said as he reemerged, "very few are deserving of such a title, don't you think?"

As he glanced down into the clear waters, seeing the Frillish wrapped around Whitlea's arm, he knew he wasn't a hero. How could he be a hero when two years ago he would have been on the side of severing the bond these two wonderful creatures were about to form. It seemed a crime now...

Hero's weren't criminals.

He reached out, rubbing the jel-filled head of a blue Frillish that bobbed around his waist. Whitlea and Frillish would be close friends, that much he could already tell, but Whitlea and himself becoming friends... He wondered briefly if that was a possibility as well.

"Tell me, do you know who I am?"

Reuniting Plasmas || N & Selia

“You really are so strong, aren’t you, N? Able to look at your past and know what to do next. But I’m terrified… I’m scared of looking my father in the face and telling him how I feel… someone can make a script in their head of what they want to happen. It doesn’t mean the other person will always follow.” Selia sighed deeply. Aurora got up, carefully walking over to Selia as she touched her head and hugged her close.

“You can do it. I know you’ll be able to tell him how you feel. And, I know N will be there to help you, won’t you?” Aurora looking to N’s direction. “And… I know she won’t say it out loud… but Alise likes to sing a lot~” Selia’s cheeks turned a bright red.

“E-Eh?! Mother! Don’t tell him that!”

“Its true, isn’t it? Maybe he can help you become a singer!”

N's face turned slightly pink as his eyes darted to the ground and he shook his head, "Strong, no. Not by any means... I have met a great deal of humans who are much stronger than I- but..."

With a small pause he bit the edge of his lip before continuing, "I understand your fear. While I have already reunited with my father there are still many things I'm fearful of regarding him. Perhaps they are things I'll never overcome.

At the sound of Aurora's voice N looked up qith a quick nod of his head. Of course he would aid her. Adding another human to his ever growing list of friendships was quite an accomplishment. Especially someone who is such a loyal follower to everything he believed in.

At her mothers declaration and Selia's embarrassment, he couldn't help but let a small laugh escape his lips. He brought his hand up to his mouth in a pathetic attempt to hide it. It was true though. There was no doubt that N would go to great lengths to aid a friend.

"For a friend, I would be honored to help."

"I-I would only do such things for mating purposes! And as it stands I have yet to find a suitable mate."

Reuniting Plasmas || N & Selia

“Sometimes… it isn’t.” Selia admitted. “Running away from my past… doesn’t make it go away. So, when it comes back, it’s more painful. So… I want to confront my father… and try and help him understand exactly how much pain he’s put me and my mother through… as well as all of those pokemon he hurt. But I don’t harbor any hate… Yes, I had disdain for what he did… but… I do not hate him…” Selia gripped her chest, her eyes closed. A small puff of air escaped her lips. 

“If you run for too long, it’ll be too hard to confront the problem. I think… looking the problem in the face and overcoming it… is better than just running. I learned that while in plasma… after all… we made sure that, even if looking at hurt pokemon hurt us, we still worked to make sure that they were freed.” Selia let out a slow sigh.

“So, that is my past.” Selia rubbed her arm, seeming embarrassed.

Well, if team Plasma did nothing else, at least it opened a few peoples eyes. When he fled from Unova he fled with the thought that Team Plasma had been an all around failure. After all, what good could come from an organization run by a manipulated, warped, defective boy?

But after returning and seeing how many Plasma members were still loyal to him- hearing of how many lives his simple ideals have changed. It was inspiring! No Team Plasma didn't accomplish its original goal, but in the process it did him and many other so much good.

"No... I suppose running forever doesn't help, but time away and a new perspective certainly helps." He knew so much from his inevitable showdown against his own father, but separating from the problem and having that time to think was valuable. Perhaps now even Selia could face her father just as he had done his own,

"Confront him then!"  N spoke with confidence as he took note of the others hint of embarrassment. If nothing else, it may be closure. Good or bad, closure is sometimes the best thing a person could have, "There is no need to feel embarrassment over ones past. We all have overcome obstacles haven't we? Whether they are big or small... You're right, there is nothing gained from running, but nothing to loose with confronting him."

Placing his chin onto the palm of his hand his focus was on the floor, when they moved his focus went outside to see Nimbasa City right in his view. Seeing how bright it was from up where they were he was impressed to see it all from up here.

Noticing what N said his eyes started to shift over to him to give him his attention.  ”It’s not all their faults. I’m the only one in my house who dislikes the cold while Bianca and.. yeah Bianca does like the cold and plus my parents back in Nuvema..”  

Hearing what N said about his Pokemon for warmth he just rolled his eyes, not really interested. He regained interest after remembering he was going to tell about how Unova changed.

“Right. It was after you left is when everyone started to forget about the events from Plasma and expected them not to come back, yeah well in two years Ghetsis caught Kyurem and planned to freeze all of Unova with the help one of the sages, Zinzolin and a scientist named Colress..”

Well, he supposed one of the main things he learned on his journey was that everyone was different. Admittedly it was still something he was trying to get used to.

At the mention of his father N couldn't help but wring the bottom of his shirt in his hands. The name still angered him, and probably would for a long while, but now wasn't the time to be angry... Colress however... that was a name he hadn't heard before. He would definitely have to track down that name sometime.

N looked back up to meet Cheren's eye, "I'm truly sorry that I left all of you to clean up my mess. I intend to make it up to all of you..."

"We can talk of happier things if you'd prefer," Slightly embarrassed, his gaze wavered back over to the window where the city lights looked like mere specks in the distance, "I have yet to speak with Bianca since my return. How has she been?"

Granted he didn't know Bianca too well... The most he knew came from everything the Shadow Triad collected for him. He was intent on fixing that as well.

Skyla rubbed the back of her neck looking a little puzzled…She really wasn’t sure how to explain anything to this one, he sounded like he came from a completely different world. Pondering for a short moment she suddenly got an idea.

“Never mind that, for now I can be like your tutor! I will turn you into a master in the art of doing tricks and pranks before you know it” She stated with a grin on her face, the emolga resting in his hat peered it’s head up and waved it’s small hand to agree.

“And she will to, that way you get the best teachers possible! But first maybe we should kinda… head back? You look like you need to wash up a bit or something, that was a pretty dirty puddle to be honest. Then you can meet Archeops since he is the best trickster I have!”

Getting clean wasn't too much of a concern, but at the sound of meeting more of her Pokemon would be a pleasure. Learning the ins and outs of another social norm would have been a huge bonus. As he leaned down to pick up his hat (Emolga included) he nodded in enthusiastic agreement.

"Excuse me if I'm wrong but," As he made a move to follow Skyla he couldn't help but notice she spoke a lot of flying type Pokemon, "are you by any chance the gym leader here? I remember hearing the Mistralton gym leader was a flying type specialist..."

Cynthia and N; Getting out of the villa for a change ♛

Cynthia smiled as she went to pet her Garchomp, when she heard a unfamiliar voice. “Huh? …” The blonde turned her head, seeing the green haired man waving at her pokemon. Wait..he was waving at her pokemon?

She pulled away, her Garchomp looking at the stranger. The champion moved over with her Garchomp following closely behind her. She could tell that he must have liked pokemon. Considering he said hello to her pokemon first then her. Not that she cared. It was nice to see people who truly appreciated pokemon.

“Hello there. I see you like my Garchomp.” She said with a soft smile, her gray eyes looking between him and the Minccino. “And pokemon in general..right?”

Oh right! Garchomp's trainer. N nodded at her statement... actually to say he had a love for Pokemon was an understatement. Perhaps though, it would have been better to speak to the women on the ground, and not from the top of a tree.

He let his legs swing down as he lowered himself down carefully branch by branch. The Minccino who had been keeping him company joined him by jumping onto his shoulder as he lowered himself. With one swift movement he jumped from the branch to the ground, landing with a slight waver in his step.

But amazing, A Garchomp up close! When he stopped to travel Sinnoh he didn't get a chance to meet a Garchomp, What an honor!

"It's a pleasure to meet you." The question was actually addressed to the both of them this time as he moved close to the women's Pokemon. He gave the Garchomp a friendly smile before focusing back on the blond, "You would be correct in your statements. I have to admit that I feel more comfortable around Pokemon than humans at times."

Though he was just getting ahead of himself now, "By the way, my name is N."

Reuniting Plasmas || N & Selia

Aurora stepped back, sitting on the tree trunk, listening to them. Selia blinked at N, a bit shocked. She frowned a little and then, seemed to smile, though sadly. Rubbing her arm, Selia closed her eyes, trying to think of the way to word it.

“Perhaps… I haven’t been alright for a long time… 4 years ago… my mother left my father and I… And she was a very strong positive light in my life. My father was a pokemon breeder and pokemon fighter. He would use pokemon as tools, thinking them as money. He wasn’t always like that. He used to be a very kind and nice man, who loved pokemon, like my mother. But… money corrupts people…” Selia’s eyes opened, the golden eyes betraying her pain.

“He treated me and my mother as people using his money to care of those ‘tools’. After my mother, I was the only one who could even take care of those pokemon. And… he would just scream and shout at me… So… I ran away one day, claiming I was going to look for strong pokemon…” Aurora frowned, turning her head in the direction of Selia, hearing her voice cracking momentarily.

“… I came to a Team Plasma rally that day… The idea of pokemon being happy, when I was only exposed to hurt and sad pokemon, was a beautiful thing.. so, I freed my father’s pokemon and threw away my previous life… so I could start anew as Selia… My original name was Alise… But I don’t go by that name anymore.”

He had to admit that her whole story was inspiring. He couldn't help but wring his hands around the fabric at the end of his shirt at the sound of someone exploiting  Pokemon for money, but the fact that his own daughter stood up to him was a large feat... Even if it was a bit tragic, she was following a dream, a goal.

N pursed his lips together as he let his hands slowly unclench from his shirt. Growing up he was never able to stand up to Ghetsis.... nor at the time did he even know he should... but there were really times that he wished he were braver. There were things that Ghetsis subjected him to that still to this day tore at his mental stability when he laid down to sleep. Things that he would never forgive his father for even when the man came to him and begged for it... but family still mattered.

Shutting his eyes tight he let out a puff of air, trying to relax his body before looking back up at Selia, "That's a very brave thing to do," He finally managed to say, " And no matter how much it pained you I believe sometimes it's better to abandon something that brought you grief."
