i feel like there's gottabe an inbetween of "you must only feed your child meat and you must only eat meat and be outside 22 hours of every day and teach them to read and use the restroom independently at 6 months old and if you wear anything other than cotton you'll explode immediately" or "ipad baby forever" like i feel like there is an inbetween but if you look anywhere online there is not actually
Normal, well-adjusted, nuanced parents are generally not online telling everyone else how to raise their baby.
On having a meek spirit:
‘meek’: mild of temper; soft; gentle; not easily provoked or irritated, yielding; humble; submissive to the divine will; not proud or apt to complain of divine dispensations.
What does it mean to actually be these things? Let’s break it down!
Mild of temper: what does it mean to be mild of temper? This means that this person does not throw around their emotional weight so to speak. They are not throwing tantrums or fits to get their way, they aren’t easily troubled by circumstances where things don’t go their way, and value people more than their reactions
Soft: in the context of women, softness can be attributed to femininity and gentleness. She isn’t loud, quarrelsome, or forceful, but rather speaks with a softness or tongue and acts with a softness of heart.
Gentle: gentleness to me is kindness and compassion. Someone who is gentle is kind and considerate. They take care to build up, rather than tear down. Proverbs 14:1 “Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
Not easily provoked or irritated: it is very easy in our modern world to find ourselves lashing out in irritation at the smallest things, the woman who cultivates a meek spirit also has a spirit of patience that is intertwined with her meekness. She is not quick to lash out, but holds her tongue in wisdom and patience. This is especially important for mothers seeking to raise disciples. We cannot react in anger or irritation but first must seek prayer before disciplining. You never want to discipline in anger, this often does not teach any lessons but only instills fear and distrust.
Yielding: a meek woman surrenders her will to her husbands, just as the church does to Christ and the husband does to the church. This does not make her a doormat, on the contrary it elevates her to a position of reverence and respect when she makes the joyful decision to give up authority. We should feel comfortable giving out opinions, and they should be listened to and taken into consideration, but the final decision should be left up to our spouses.
Humble: to be humble is to avoid arrogance, superiority, pride, and haughtiness. She takes her worthiness and her pride in knowing that she is a loved creation of Christ and her identity rests in him.
Submissive to the divine will: she follows the word of the lord, and does not try to stray from the path he has set before her. Rather than trying to go her own way and guide her family away from the lord, she strives to always point her family to the lord.
Not proud or apt to complain of divine dispensations: a woman who has cultivated a meek spirit does not pretend to know more than God, nor does she want too. Rather she is content in following his guidance and his plan. She takes all suffering with gladness and glorifies the Lord in her hardships and in her victories. Eve added consequences to the fruit of Good and Evil that the Lord had not put in place, making it easier to be led astray. Like our foremother Eve, we too can be tempted to add or take away from Gods word.

Why are women pretty?
God progressively made things better and better as He created and He ended with woman. And He called it "very good". All of creation finds its pinnacle in human women, and from the source of all beauty, He poured forth His beauty and creative ability, into us, who most intimately share in His creative power.
Advocating for aborting children that are pre-diagnosed in the womb with things like autism, turner syndrome or anything else of the sort is sick. Saying that “the child should be aborted so no one has to suffer” is just eugenics and you will never change my mind. I can’t believe we live in a day and age where the same people who cry ableism are in fact advocating for the highest form of ableism.
Reminder that I'm anti-porn, because I'm pro-woman.
I'm anti-abortion, because I'm pro-woman.
I'm anti-prostitution, because I'm pro-woman.
All of these things are institutionalized sexism against women, and I am unapologetically and unashamedly pro-woman.
Made in the Image and Likeness of God, and deserving of all dignity.
“What’s your dream job?”
You guys dream of jobs? I just want to get married to the love of my life, disappear to a cozy cottage in the middle of nowhere, raise my babies surrounded by nature and finally have real peace away from the chaos of society.
