Does Wildwing relax against the warmth at his side almost immediately? Yes.

Is he gonna move from this position any time soon? Not a chance.
His voice is contently tired with a hint of mirth “Wanna hear what atrocity of a publicity stunt Phil wanted us to do this time?”

He let out a hum at the touch and smiles up at the bigger duck.
“Thank you. I love you so much..”
The cold mask is quite literally cast off so he could place a kiss to the crown of the sweet duck’s head.
“Love you back. Just don’t forget to add yourself to the list of people to be kind to.” a playful, soft poke to the side to emphasize his point.

That’s all he needs.
A large hand is rubbing gentle circles into Fenton’s back almost the very moment he makes contact.
“Just sayin’. Being kind to everyone you meet doesn’t sound that scoffable.”
“’Wanting everyone’s approval’ is a pretty negative way to put it...”

Oh, how Wildwing will miss it.
A few breathless coughs and a quiet groan ease out of the lifeless lump of a duck that had just gotten gut checked by an overzealous little brother. Wildwing brought a hand up and groggily patted his brother’s head feffers.
“I take it this means it’s late night snack time?”

“Sooo. Ye an’ Fenton.” He starts, sipping his tea. “How did…how did that happen?”
“Ah...” well, he wasn’t exactly Fenton when we met. “Well, we met at work. Aaand then he came to one of our games.... and I just uh, wanted to see him more. And the more time we spent together the more I saw what a... wonderful person he was.” he rubbed his neck with a fond little smile. “And I just couldn’t be without him after that I guess, Sir.”
