Besides Wildlife I like Land Rovers and Urban Nature. Occasionaly I will post a picture that has nothing to to with Wildlife or Nature, just because I like it.

Great evening searching and finding European tree frogs. An evening like this starts slow with only an occasional calling male (who will stop calling when being approached). After a while you're surrounded by calling males and the sound is everywhere.. Drawback is being stung by mosquito's a lot but all in all it was great fun!!

Hundreds..thousands of Common Toads (Bufo bufo) during mating. I planned a quick of the pool, so didn't bring my camera. I didn't expected them to be depositing eggs already.

Fresh moor frog eggs (Rana arvalis). Some eggs have started development. Some of the top eggs have a nucleus core that has two divisions.

Two days of offroading with The LRCH on an (for the weekend) abandoned Tank-practicing ground. Just a lot of fun, skilled driving, learning to know ones vehicle, teamwork and beautiful Land Rovers.

Meandering stream (the Reest) is the "border" between Drenthe and Overijssel. This stream gets a more natural look over the years now different organizations try to preserve its "old" character as a classical example of this landscape.

Normally a stork is a fairly rare sight in The Netherlands. Because there is a "rescue centre" in The Wijk it is possible to find >200 Storks together at one place.
