Iveta Abolina

Her style of illustration is characterized by the search for beauty and equilibrium in chaos. She attempts to capture a moment of her own imagination. Her work has been described as “imaginative, colorful arrangements of abstract floral shapes with intricate detail & vivid colors ”. Iveta is trying to find a way to mix her hand drawn images & textures into a graphic alchemy. She likes to put elements in order and then disorder; to break them and fix them - and finally get a balanced composition. Within each piece she tries to create an intimate world that possesses its own ethos and its own emotional range. There’s not always a special concept behind her work - sometimes she just tries to create something beautiful which captures the viewers attention.

She has done many freelance projects for a variety of entertainment industry clients such as Comedy Central, HBO, SpikeTV and TNT. Presently Iveta is based in New York and works as a senior designer for Showtime Networks.
