Thanks for all the wonderful normal people gifs! I think in the picture of daisy and paul with the slateboard they are in their own jackets in between/after takes. I think the picture is from the final scene they shot in Italy on the bikes.

Ahh thank you anon. I was thrown off by Connell/Paul’s jacket but I think you’re right because the shorts and dress look bike-ride-scene-y and I know Italy was the last place they shot. What a nice scene to end filming on! That actually makes me feel a bit weepy haha.

I can't help but be disappointed that we're getting another popular Jane Austen book that already has a great adaptation and they're using actors who would be perfect for a diferent one.

George McKay and Daisy Edgar Jones would be PERFECT for Persuasion! I wouldn't even mind the moodyness and loose hair if it were Persuasion (will you guys kill me if I say it would actually fit?). I'm sad that we'll never see a Persuasion adaptation with these two as Captain Wentworth and Anne Elliot like LOOK AT THEM. And now we'll never get the chance 💔
