Teamed up with The Muse to be a part of a panel on your Job Search Checklist, sharing insights on how to tackle each phase of the job search and start off on the right foot. “Embarking on the search for a new job can inspire a lot of complex feelings. One minute you’re excited about the possibility of finding your next role at the company of your dreams. The next, you’re completely overwhelmed by the whole process and wondering how you’ll ever get everything done.”
Tonight with our partners at the Recurse Center, not a Bootcamp but a coding sabbatical where their members “never graduate.”

I’m at #HRTechWorld here in Amsterdam seeing some of the most groundbreaking products at the forefront of the HR / recruiting and talent acquisition industry. AI startups in this space have been numerous as well as collecting a big chunk of funding the past few years but I’m glad to see that Blockchain is starting to make its way into the foray. Blockchain has the potential to fundamentally disrupt how we organize both work and society in the future. Photographed here is Euan Semple who gave a few examples on how Blockchain May be brought to our space, particularly through Ethereum, and it’s concept of a Digital Autonomous Organization. Euan argued that as our lives become more influenced by technologies designed and controlled by a very small group of increasingly powerful people (particularly “Californians” which I found funny) we should consider how Blockchain can decentralize this power.

Understand the trends, the micro / macro trends, see opportunities your business does not. 3. You bring value every time, all the time. 4. You raise the bar. 5. You give feedback and advice. You don't wait for an invitation 6. You ask a lot of questions. Lots and lots of questions. 7. You dig together to unearth new Talent.
