I am honored and proud to share with you all that my new film, “Mr Johnson” which I wrote, directed and DOP’ed, produced by Azania Productions @aimeedherman and @malebomanamela, won Best Feature Film at the Global NonViolent Film Festival this week. Also, the lead actor, the very talented Paul Slabolepszy, won in the category Best Actor - Congratulations Paul! “Mr Johnson” is a movie about a man who wakes up from nearly half a century in a coma, struggling to live the rest of his life in a body and world that make no sense to him. I want to thank and congratulate our very talented cast and crew who all played a part in this film’s success. It’s also nice to be recognized by an awards competition seeking to amplify and recognize drama without violence.
