Type www.routerlogin.net or the LAN IP address on the web address of the browser. Press Enter and Netgear Router login page appear on the screen.
Enter “admin” as the default username and type the password on the password field. Mention “password” if you haven’t set the password yet. Click on the login tab and the home screen of www.routerlogin.net appears on the screen.
Select the “Advanced” tab click on the Administration tab then click on the Set Password tab. Set Password page displays on the screen.
Now, to enable the Password recovery option, select the “Enable Password Recovery” checkbox.
Select the security questions and provide answers to them. These answers are going to be used during the recovery process. After providing answers to the security questions, the user can recover his password.
