Me: Yeah, the majority of our fandom is totally on point about Buffy and Spike being too freaky [/affectionate] and unconventional to have a so-called "normal" romance

Also me: So my goal is to spend every waking minute this summer writing achingly sweet, fluffy domestic Spuffy fics in which Spike is a happy househusband, Buffy is the badass breadwinner, and they're both loving parents to their kids and several rescue dogs while enjoying chaotic family get togethers with Willow, Dawn, Giles, Tara, Anya and more :)
