Eine lange Zeit habe ich tumblr extrem geliebt und lieber und intensiver genutzt, als Instagram. Dann kam ein sehr großer Druck in dem "instagame" präsent zu sein und tumblr bekam eine Weile einen Maulkorb, was für mich als Creator von eher expliziten und nackten Inhalten ein herber Schlag war. Viel schlimmer war aber das ich die Arbeiten von anderen nicht mehr so gebündelt und kurratiert finden konnte wie hier. Nun hat sich daran endlich wieder etwas geändert und Tumblr lebt wieder auf. In der Zwischenzeit hat sich meine Einstellung zu meiner Arbeit ein wenig geändert, aber nach wie vor finde ich hier in 5 Minuten mehr inspirierenden Content, als über tagelanges scrollen auf Instagram. Dazu kommt, dass instagram mittlerweile auch was die Werbefrequenz angeht einfach keinen Spaß mehr macht. Was wird also hier in der nächsten Zeit passieren? Ich denke ich werde diesen Blog nicht nur zum Posten meiner Arbeiten nutzen, sondern auch um Gedanken über Photographie, Film und meine Arbeit im Allgemeinen zu teilen. Darüber hinaus wird alles ab jetzt auf deutsch geschrieben und gepostet. Ich werde die Texte nur rudimentär mit Google Translate ins Ensglische übersetzen lassen. Grundsätzlichg wäre ich auch in der Lage die Texte selbst zu übersetzen, aber ehrlich gesagt fehlt mir mittlerweile als Freelancer die Zeit und die Nerven für solche Stunts.

I think I will use this blog not only to post my work, but also to share thoughts about photography, film and my work in general. In addition, everything will now be written and posted in German. I will only have the texts translated into English rudimentarily using Google Translate. In principle, I would also be able to translate the texts myself, but to be honest, as a freelancer, I now lack the time and nerve for such stunts.
